Yes-ic. The full client version of PSO2 on the Vita is 6.2GB, but that was after SEGA did a massive shrinking of it. I believe that previously it was pushing the limit of the 16GB memory stick.

(Probably could have gone in Quick Questions...)

It's technically around 10gb from PSN store. I have it on my 16gb. You're fine.

Thanks for the answers, and sorry for not posting in Quick Questions, I wasn't home when I made the post and the stores were going to close soon lmfao.

Just for a piece of mind, if you have a hard copy of episode II, it takes up about 6200mb/6.2g from the updates.

how they shrink it
They probably removed unused stuff, such as events that are no longer active, and compressed a bunch of stuff.

what if you havethe physical version of the game? my brother is going to japan this month and im not sure what to ask him better, a 16gb memory for the vita for the full download or a smaller memory and a physical copy of the game (for collection :D )

If you have the download version of episode 2 fully patched 16GB is not enough..
I have 16Gb. My PSO2 is patched till around July last year. Cant download the patch 3.15 coz its 6GB, 6405MB to be exact.
Anyway were you able to connect using PS Vita without using VPN?
I'm on asia region anyway

You can just redownload the entire game if you don't have enough space. Unless you have a monthly cap or something it shouldn't be an issue.

I've been able to connect with my Vita about anywhere w/o VPNs, Only place I wasn't able to connect so far was McDonald.
