Also what if you could beat Rheo Madullard by spraying him with water?

Super Mario Sunshine - Where you beat boss plants that spit goo everywhere by spraying them your waterpack

*Disclaimer - Only the location reminds me of some Halo maps. The design is so similar.

Does PSO2 remind you of another (unrelated) game?

[Edit] If only the sword in PSO2 worked like the energy sword from Halo. Oh man that thing was fun. Would probably be too OP :(

I suddenly want a space flight mission where we use what amounts to a space version of AIS and we fly around blasting darkers before they reach the Arks Ship.

I think our graphic settings are incredibly different, but seeing it that way was pretty cool. It is kind of similar, lol.

SPOILER The Arks technology to envelope and move a whole planet around the universe is certainly at the level or above the Forerunners technology, and the Flood was not very different from the Darker, both parasitic species that assimilate other life forms and we could also believe they also have a Hive mind (Profound Darknes).

The Mothership always reminds me of Dark Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2, especially Quadraxis's arena. :3

Also: On the whole, this game has a Jet Force Gemini feel to it. Exotic locales, travelling to different planets all the time. I really love that about PSO2.

Mothership looks very generic without shadowing...

Yeah it would be cool if they could do something more with the campships. All we do is defend them. Why not let us fly them too?

@others Notice - My graphics settings are all set to minimum. Im sorry everyone :(

Oh wow that is really cool. I never even thought about how similar the darkers are to the Flood. All those "infections", that is basically the same concept. I never got that vibe about the similarities until we got the our first indoors map on PSO2, the Mothership.

Stop bringing me back good childhood memories :(

I hope bungie doesn't sue Sega then.

Why? Sega did it before with PSO, there it was called d-cell and germ, and in PSU it was called SEED, but the results were the same. Do you know about a movie called The Thing?

Welp I just meant that someone stupid enough would try to sue sega over it. People will sue over the dumbest things. My bad. =/

Even if that were the case, Bungie has a good relationship with Microsoft, which in turn has a great history of relationships with Sega. Legal issues are not likely and actually the programmers would be more likely to share resources(read: ideas) in secret.

Having worked in the software industry I know that it happens and I can definitely see it happening with friendly developers. Not to say a dev wouldn't steal an idea or code, just that it's unlikely and if it happens, it's on friendly terms.

In topic though, I don't see much of a resemblance besides the theme, to be honest.

This space station looks like a space station.

Not that farfetched, really. But not really enough to say X looks like Y.
