Burn Draal trigger was extremely useful for hunting Rikauteri for that sweet $$$, so that trigger purchase was probably in the hundreds if not thousands.

Oh really? Thats interesting. I remember never seeing a Burn until this Valentines EQ so I guess that could be useful. Never seen that bow youre talking about though. I killed thousands of Haze Draals during that Coast LQ last year and got sick of all his club of zumirians ><

As an add, all centre-map respawn kills were removed this update.

Not sure what to think, as I thought it was a pretty cool trick, but it does make TAs far less ping reliant. I can finally play Wopal TA!

Those patch notes are *sexy*:


Items placed on the field from the item pack will now have a graphical effect to distinguish it from regular drop items.

Relaxed the altitude restrictions for Mothership, Infested Mothership, and Arks Ship Wreckage / Deck.

For Client Orders, Team Orders, Matter Boards, and Arks Bingo Cards, defeating the rare enemy variant of a normal enemy will also count towards clearing the objective.

Partially buffed the clear rewards for defeating the enemies in the Emergency Trial that appears in Parallel Areas.

When screenshots are set to remove the interface, Just Attacks/Just Charge timing effects will no longer be displayed in the screenshot.

To me, particularly, this is the best change. It annoyed me to no end and made no sense, finally we can go do Coast 250k order not fearing a Val Dominus spawn everytime.

About damn facking time.
I heard they also finally fixed that weird Esparda swinging sound.

But check out the ^ shaped pattern on the back of the Sharp Semi-Long. Lazy UVing. You can tell they just don't care anymore.
No idea why they didn't just use the Panis Semi-Long texture (same mesh).

Edit: Checked the new Lightning Esparda sound. It's not that weird blibliblibli sound anymore, but the new one is kinda irritating to my ears.
It sounds like a magnetism-powered monolith skating across polished metal... or something.
They ought to replace their sound design guy, like what they did with Kimura.

Did a little bit of testing, so this affects JAs obviously, as well as katanas charge rings. Note that the "outline" of Kanran showing its range at the peak of its charge still appears. Stuff like the targetting of Nafoie or Ilfoie doesn't seem to be affected either.

The new jet boots are easily the best option after the 13* ones, as they apparently have a stronger version of the Element Stance boosting latent on them.

I'll have to get those if at all possible...

Don't forget that the Sword has T-ATK as well as Fo/Te/Bo equippability
And the Jet Boots are Fi equippable, so all you Fi/Bo JB builds go farm Rampaging Malice and get this thing, it might be worth it.

Fighter can't use Switch Strike, though.

They don't need to, you go t-atk fibo with boots.

I feel sorry for Bob though. He was working on making a really good solo Naberius II time for a really long time (so much so that he renamed this twitter account to "Triangle Fongalf" to refer to the wolves missing the respawn kill a lot), but now all that time has pretty much gone to waste.

He ended up getting 2:19 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8t6I7PjGGs) in the end, but he knows very well that it can be improved by a fairly decent amount.

In TA maps (as well as other places, but TAs were where it's most relevant), there are batches of spawns that all briefly (very briefly; we're talking like a second here) have their hit boxes appear in one spot on the map. If you used an attack that lingered, like Ilfoie or Satellite Cannon or you get the idea, on that spot when they were scheduled to spawn, you could wipe out a whole batch of spawns before they even appeared in their actual places.

It was especially ridiculous in Vopar, where there were two spots you could exploit to drastically reduce the time spent running the place.

Still no one has mentioned that it has innate Sacrifice Bite, so no need to main/sub Hunter to benefit? Or 1100 (on par with Queen Viera, and higher than most tech weapons) T-ATK, which is a lot more important than simply having T-ATK? Man you guys fail!

More so that you need to land and upkeep Sacrifice Bite if you go on FO/TE, a mostly long-range class, and you cannot just guard.
Still, it's an interesting weapon that I can see being useful later on.

The lack of a need for a rainbow palette to use techs with for Techer and Bouncer also helps with the viability.

Definitely no good for actual Hunter main or /Hu since Hunter has terrible tech damage and innate Sacrifice Bite makes Hunter redundant. This thing is strictly for tech usage and Sacrifice Bite.

I saw the Quna boots this afternoon and noticed they where fighter equipable AND had an amazing latent. I then broke down into fits of anger cursing sega because they actually made a weapon stupidly powerful for my boot user and im never gonna get it because lol 12* area drop ;;

It's something that allows tech usage with a Sword out as Hunter. Not something I'd use personally because the tech damage wouldn't be amazing, but I know a lot of people who would love the ability to use HU PAs and then start vomiting fireballs out that actually do some form of damage.

It'd best be used by FO mains (outside of FO/BR because banish) but I can see some fun uses for it. None that I'd take in public, but among a group of friends dedicated to dicking around? It'll work.

Just tested it out. As a Fo/Te with a Sword I was able to step attack, but was unable to Just Guard. To make sure it wasn't me just sucking at the timing, I then switched to Hu/Fi with the exact same sword, and was able to successfully Just Guard. Videos below.

I thought I saw it when skimming over the bug fix notes.
There's a bug fix list separate from the patch notes list.

But you're right that they didn't announce it, AFAIK.
It's a stupid bug that should never have been there to begin with.

I thought more people would be irritated about the stealth fix for the Jet Boots PA.
I don't recall hearing them say that they'd fix that.

Jet Boots isn't all that good with Limit Break. Its PAs aren't cancel friendly. So your "max DPS" will get shut down rather quickly against half the bosses

even without limit break you have nearly a 90% uptime on a flat 15% damage bonus on top of the latent giving 15% (151.8% total, up from 132% effective 19.8%) just for being fighter which is a huge multiplyer already.

Vinto isnt 5 second charge. It's more like 2.5 seconds.

It's sub 2 with Rapid Boost on. Prob like 100 frames or less.

Everyone on table got it's score at 19 ~ 20, Nyau got 4 cards total'ed at 19 ..... some people is happy, some feels safe (at least the bet returned for me), until Nyau shown "!!!", decided to add 1 card, and it became 21 (5 cards) .... and "Everyone lose their minds ~♪"

He screws up a lot more often. Like, everyone has below 19 when he has 20, and then he'll draw and bust. Not very smart (but I'm fine with that).

I kinda want to play BlackNyack now :(
I don't see why they'd have to disable the entire thing because people get stuck sometimes.
Better to play and get stuck than not play for a whole week. I mean, if it bothers people they can just choose to not play.
Unless there was some kind of other game-breaking bug.

Yeah, I was just talking to a JP friend about it, and they told me about the coin loss, and that it was posted on the news page.

Geez... I wouldn't have thought Blackjack would be that difficult to code without such serious bugs.

Neither would I. Seriously, it should work like this:

Get player bet level(1~5)
Set casino coin deduction(Bet level x 10)
Set new casino coin total(Current total minus Casino Coin Deduction amount)
Set new casino coin total again if player doubles down(New total minus Casino Coin Deduction amount.

This function is quite literally codeable by the most novice of programmers in absolutely any programming language.

Never underestimate ass backwards-ness of Japanese programming in action. They probably picked a piece of legacy code to be responsible for CC adjustment, and it was totally inefficient and not meant to even do that but "that's how we've always been doing things around here".
