Just in your opinion –
i seen a video where someone was using two guns, jumping in the air and stuff, they looked fun and easy to use. so i kind of am interested in that. i heard that the cast has good attack?
i classes with good attack power. and just one for going solo.

There is no "best" race or class.

There are best races if you want to main a certain thing, like newmans are best if you want to play Force, etc. But if you switch to Hunter, then you will be weaker. Humans are the "all-around" race, and Dewmans are the "more dmg less def" race.

Anyways about classes, everything has strengths and weaknesses, and you are supposed to switch weapons to deal with the weaknesses of your other weapons. This MMO is unique that youre not locked into one class/weapon at character creation. You can change weapons and classes at any time so its easy to try everything and see what you like.

Usually, Race doesn't really matter, but yes, CAST have the best R-ATK in the game, along with Deuman. And the class you are talking about is Gunner.

As mentioned, race isn't all that important, but if you really want to know the advantages it's like this:

Male Cast - high S-ATK, S-DEF values, and HP. Mid-high R-ATK and R-DEF, low T-ATK and T-DEF.
Female Cast - mid-high S-ATK, S-DEF, and HP. High R-ATK and R-DEF, low T-ATK and T-DEF.

Male Human - mid all-around, slightly higher on the S and R stats, slightly lower on T stats.
Female Human - mid all-around, slightly higher on T and R (same as male)stats, slightly lower on the S stats.

Male Newman - high T-Atk, low everything else with slighter higher S-DEF.
Female Newman - same as above, with slightly higher T-DEF.

Male Deuman - High S, R and T ATL values, low everything else.
Female Deuman - same as above, but even lower HP and DEF, but higher T-DEF.

You can then, infer from that stat-wise:

Best Hunter/Fighter/Braver/Bouncer - Male Cast.
Best Ranger/Braver/Gunner - Female or Male Cast.
Best Force/Techer - Female Newman or Deuman.

Of course, those are the popular choices, shouldn't really matter. You can always check pso2-skill.pwnedgalaxy.net/skillcalc.php for stats comparisons.

In this game, there's no real racial stat difference unless you're a mega min-maxers.
People usualy just pick whatever they see fit and roll with it.

Generally the stat differences are only a few percent between races. However, Casts have a huge T-atk penalty.

JP wiki ranked top 3 stats on it's page.

[SPOILER-BOX]http://puu.sh/fWEQh/69dda9b227.png[/SPOILER-BOX]

- Translation (Rank1 - Rank2 - Rank3) -
HP : Cast Male - Cast Female - Human Male
PP : All the same
S-Atk : Deuman Male - Deuman Female - Cast Male
R-Atk : Cast / Deuman Female - Cast / Deuman Male - Human Male / Female
T-Atk : Newman Female - Newman Male - Human Male / Female
Dex : Cast Male / Female - Human / Deuman Female - Human / Deuman Male
S-Def : Human / Cast Male
R-Def : Newman Male / Cast Female
T-Def : Human / Newman Female - Human / Newman / Deuman Male + Deuman Female - Cast Male / Female

As for details for bonus stat ..... they listed something this (in %). But they gave a note, that n practice, it might not match. But I think it's just a few negligible points.

- Translation -
Top - Down :
Human Male

Newman Male
Newman Female
Cast Male
Cast Female
Deuman Male
Deuman Female

Left - Right :
Race - HP - S-Atk - R-Atk - T-Atk - Dex - S-Def - R-Def - T-Def

Then again, usually the difference is really small, if I remember it right, R-Atk difference from DeumanMale Gunner and DeumanFemale Gunner is just measly 5 R-Atk in Skill Simulator (at Lv70 / 70 back then). Since the JP wiki listed difference of 1%, probably it's safe to say 1% = 5 point difference?

CASTs are best race.

Why?

Because we have jets in our legs and can customize our costumes more thoroughly with swappable arms, legs, and bodies, that's why!

TC, only thing that really matters is to absolutely not go female newman if you plan on playing exclusively as melee. And by absolutely, I actually mean that you should totally do it.

Just adding here that 1% racial stat difference does not equate to 1% actual performance difference. Stats are also padded by skills, equipment, affixes, Mag etc.

Taking Female Cast vs Female Newman Ranger/Braver for example, all other things being equal, the Cast's 3% base RATK advantage works out to less than 1% actual damage difference in endgame, even after buffs.

LonelyGaruga

Racial stats don't matter too much right now, but they do make a bit of a difference.

HP (Hu/Fi, Hu/Br, Hu/Bo): Male Cast (808 ), Female Newman (710), difference of 98 HP
S-ATK (Hu/Fi, Fi/Hu): Male Dewman (642), Female Human (600), difference of 42 S-ATK
R-ATK (Ra/Gu, Gu/Ra): Female Cast (630), Male Newman (612), difference of 28 R-ATK
T-ATK (Fo/Te, Te/Fo): Female Newman (660), Male Cast (576), difference of 84 T-ATK
DEX (Br/Bo, Bo/Br): Male Cast (468 ), Male Newman (455), difference of 13 DEX
S-DEF (Hu/Fi, Hu/Te, Fi/Hu, Fi/Te, Te/Hu, Te/Fi): Male Human (630), Female Human (600), difference of 30 S-DEF
R-DEF (Ra/Gu, Gu/Ra): Male Newman (630), Male Human (600), difference of 30 R-DEF
T-DEF (Fo/Br, Fo/Bo): Female Human (615), Male Cast (557), difference of 58 T-DEF

Basically, no matter what, race is about equal to another affix, sometimes two-three (except for DEX, but that stat is negligible). And since they're % bonuses, the higher the levels get, the more racial bonuses will add, so the gaps will continually widen. None of that matters too much unless you're min-maxing, but if race doesn't matter to you then there's no reason not to pick by stats. Eventually, the difference is going to reach a point where you could be losing out on what amounts to an entire extra unit of affixes.

Though, yeah, obviously this is pretty small right now. But with no aesthetic preference, the only thing that matters for racial choices is the statistical differences offered, even if they're not that big of a deal.

Represent.

The biggest difference between race/genders is base HP since it's the one stat we don't get in abundance.

Racial stats can sometimes be annoying when you want to equip certain things earlier. Elysion is a bigger pain to equip as Newman. Not that people seem to use it much anymore.
Numan and Duman may have some survivability problems, but it shouldn't matter if you get good gear (eg. Saiki).
Or if you just don't get hit.

Walkure

Since Deumans were introduced, unit defense requirements have been lowered to where most common class combinations have just enough DEX and s/r/tDEF for them to equip them at max level. This also means that Casts and Newmans, which have lower tDEF and DEX, respectively, occasionally have to spec mag levels/SP in those stats to equip endgame gear at the level cap it was designed around.

So, there's a rather weak argument that dewmans are the best/most future-proof of any race for any class.

As mentioned many times in this thread, it doesn't matter since differences in damage are less than 1% in the end because of skills and equipment.

Just chose what you think looks best, make a male if you want cheap clothes, make a female if you want alot more options with clothes. I'm not sure how the clothes thing works with casts though.
