I dunno what there is to work together on it. I was just gonna do my own thing like I did back when I was playing DDFF competitively. I have a music playlist for streaming but don't provide commentary. I would provide my stream archives as an example, but it looks like they're all expired. I was told by one of the other streamers that archiving on twitch was permanent...and the streams were some of the last (and best) matches I played too, shoot. Oh well. All I got is this highlight (http://www.twitch.tv/lonelygaruga/c/3227694) as an example, and it's just 20 seconds ;w;

That being said, I haven't tried streaming PSO2 yet, so I don't know what I should do for that yet. Was gonna figure that out over the weekend, but asking about your setup should be more effective.

I'm making a new character for C-Mode specifically because of this worry. I'm more willing to risk losing ~$5 over the hundreds of hours I have between my other characters.

Sega has just demonstrated that they may very well fuck up an old, tried and true game mechanic by changing a new one.
Doritos kill rate counter was perfectly fine. Then they adjusted Magatsu's and probably forgot they changed code affecting both and suddenly Doritos was broken.

Not to mention all the black nyack nonsense where I personally had dealbreaking bugs (like selecting hit and it chose stay or I get 2-3 normal + special cards from selecting hit a single time).

Considering just how much damage this could potential cause I don't mind waiting.

Not to mention waiting is fine, then I can check out guides and stuff.

We do, there's 14 challenge blocks on every ship.

I think the problem is that you can't play Challenge on any block, which is really silly.

I am taking a break until our next set of runs at 10PM, but Challenge definitely is worth it. Challenge feels closer to how PSO-1 felt and I love that very much.

Really enjoyed these few runs we had. As it stands right now, challenge mode lives up to the name, although obviously, a completely organised and experienced MPA will get much better results than we did.

One thing to remember is that Challenge Shared Ship Servers are a different location in their entirety meaning...

You can only be Present in one ship at a time, while elsewhere it will show you as logged off/Offline. This happened several times.

I go to Challenge Lobbies, people are online...Go back to Ship 2, everyone is offline.

Official english challenge block is now block 411. Not 420blazeit because that's a popular JP block.

3/13 post. We've been using 450 for the organized runs since CQs were a thing (3/11). And as far as I'm concerned, 450 is what we'll use for MPAs. I'm not a sheep. I'm not playing on a block just because someone said to. That's what all the bad players are going to do, the ones I don't want to be stuck carrying all day. No thanks. Planned MPAs or JP randoms. Anything else is practically guaranteed to suck.

I mean people are more than welcome to make an "English" block. I'll be sure to stay far away from it though. Personally I'm contempt playing with randoms which are more often than not able to reach m7+ now on the "hard core" blocks.

Also I prefer not having people tell me what to do. AR with homing emission master race in Challenge Mode. <3 You have an annoying miniboss? No problem! I nuke him for you. You have an annoying boss? No problem! I nuke him too... just remember my AR mob control isn't that great and I might need a launcher here and there. :v

The whole purpose of gathering people together like this is to have cooperative play among people. If such play can not be achieved, it becomes worse than simply running with Japanese Randoms, who cooperate well together to make things happen in most runs I have been part of.

If B411 functioned like those blocks, that would require the average level of competence to be well beyond what it currently is. Planned MPAs partially avoid this issue. There's also the problem of how the best MPAs are with people who regularly play together, instead of joining random groups like what you're suggesting. Tight-knit groups used to playing with each other are the best way to go, and forming consistent MPAs will always be better than joining random groups as a result, so 411's existence is irrelevant and only useful for people that want to join random EN players. Which generally isn't the same category of people looking for good runs.

The lack of being able to play together and be cooperative is kind of what has hurt us as a community. But Garuga is right. Those looking for good runs won't necessarily join an EN Block. Yeah. I've had a lot of cases like that. It's fucking pathetic. We're not the greatest. We can't claim to be the greatest. We can't even really claim to be good, because if we were good, we would've beaten challenge already and be working on optimizing it. Same way we did with TACOs.

I will be the first to admit I'm no pro. I get that. And I'm not JP players are pro either. I have had bad players from both sides, yet this site only seems to care if EN players do poor. Honestly my JP randoms have gotten me my furthest(m5) but also my shortest(timed out on cougar). Maybe it's becuase im not really a part of this community but it just seems like you guys bash on EN players at every chance you get.

No offense, but I completely fail to see how I'm letting anyone ruin anything for me. If I ran EN randoms, the quality of the runs would be worse than with JP randoms. So I have no reason to run with EN randoms and baby people. It's not as though JP players are genetically inclined toward being superior video game players. The fact that they're generally better players has everything to do with the failings of the EN communities and nothing to do with JPs actually being better at anything. Nothing against helping EN players, I burn far more time than I should doing exactly that on this forum in the hopes that I'll be assisting people who aren't complete failures at everything they do, but I'm not wasting my time with something I know to be true, and that's that random EN runs < random JP runs.

And that's why we run organized EN MPAs, to avoid the bad EN players. Or at least try to, anyway. Working on properly organized EN MPAs with handpicked people, but that's a private matter obviously. Won't make a difference to anyone not invited.

It seems to me that specialization is less of a problem in random MPAs and more of a bane of organized ones. From my (admittedly few) organized challenge runs, you are somehow expected to know exactly what will drop for you ahead of time, or whoever is considered leader will throw a bitchfit. People sticking with bad weapons isn't a good thing, of course, but with the way CQ works, I may end up switching from sword to jet boots to katana over the course of just two missions, or stay with a sword for a while longer if Cougar drops tell me to. Or I may have to stick with a rifle and shoot Homing Emissions. Or Satellite Aim may drop and I go back to doing the one thing I know. All while the clock is ticking, and there's no time to devise tactics.

We are importers and even with numbers amass the entire population and players who returned for Challenge, we actually are a minority... in terms of how spread out we are.

QFT. Yeah. I'd like to be able to share ideas and run with everyone. This is really counter productive. In fact, we're the main English community. Even if we're not, people come here regardless. We should have more to show that makes people want to join and participate. That makes people want to learn and get better.

On topic. Made it to A8 for the first time with Keilyn last night. Was a blast. Loved every minute of it, can't wait to do more runs later.
