i have the entire tweaker directory in exclusions for my anti malware

THE PROGRAM IS BEING RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

this is the most annoying fucking thing i've ever had to deal with as far as the tweaker

i don't wanna have to redownload the whole tweaker manually every time it updates i just want the damn thing to UPDATE

i'm not sure what to say i ran a check disk on both disks even moved the tweaker directory to my "D:\" drive which is my second hard drive.

i know for a fact nothing should be doing this at this point because I HAVE EVEN DISABLED EVERYTHING AND TRIED TO GET IT TO UPDATE AND IT STILL FAILED

there are so many things i tried as my knowledge of computers which is in fact at an IT level

i assist people at itt with all kinds of computer problems

i even had my boss take a look at it and he himself said something is wrong with the program

there has to be a typo or something wrong in the spot of code for where it updates

dont understand why now all of a sudden the tweaker is saying this bs when it shouldn't be

as i said earlier i even tried disabling everything that could potentially block it and even add exclusions so programs wouldn't care about what it does ....

unless there is some faggot company out to get you aida besides sega i doubt there is any reason why any malware companies would have a reason to blacklist the tweaker

and if they had i would have gotten a notification saying that the tweaker was malware if thats the case

It's more likely that your AV of choice is the one causing issues, not the Tweaker, your AV is probably moving files to the Quarantine making the list of files incomplete and causing weird shit to happen.

I work on IT, and everytime we release a new version of a program these kind of stuff happen, it's not really a big deal, as long your understand what's going on.

Just for your information:

AV software can flag ANY software as a virus if they use Windows resources, and wasn't submitted to their engineers for analysis, which may or may not cost for the software company(so that they "whitelist" them), so it's not AIDA's fault.

It's more likely that your AV of choice is the one causing issues, not the Tweaker, your AV is probably moving files to the Quarantine making the list of files incomplete and causing weird shit to happen.

I work on IT, and everytime we release a new version of a program these kind of stuff happen, it's not really a big deal, as long your understand what's going on.

and yes i get the same error message i've redownloaded the tweaker 6 times now since 3.0.3.x for each update that came up because of this error

i run the tweaker as administrator and administrators have all permissions and are in the security tab so >.>

the error message only happens when the tweaker itself is updating nothing else

Mine will not update at all as well... I have no AV/security/Windows settings to prevent it from updating. Could the one posted @ arks layer be updated so people who do have this issue can still use the current one. I understand the updates are happening very quickly to it and uploading every minor change would seem pointless so only major updates are posted to A-L. who is your hosting provider if anything the fact that my router is blocking the connection period means that your hosting provider may have gotten into some trouble in the past

i would recommend switching hosting providers as i can confirm after using a vpn i can download the file but without a vpn my router blocks

you're going to get a lot of users who will have this same problem if you can't/don't
