If so, does it help reduce the lag?
Is it a notable difference?

It's better than the proxy when it works but the reliability itself is pretty bad, approximately every month they have service disruptions ranging from half a day to 1.5 days.

A Disruption every month? with that pattern they could just cover it as something else.

I used WTFast for a couple months back when I used to play Foreign games regularly and there was a considerable difference and the Ping Reduction varied from game to game.

The Standard and Free versions of the program are complete and utter butt and pretty much forces you to pay for the whole thing if you want a noticeable difference. Even with a private network though if you dont have a great Net you wont get much.

I play from Canada with no proxy or private network and I dont think its that bad, Players seldom freeze in place or teleport around and I can see monsters moving and their animations perfectly which is the most important part.

Uh, freeze means really bad lag but even way before it's that bad it has a notcieable impact on gameplay.

Anyway, thanks Selfia.
I think I'll skip.

I paid for a month, and went free trial for the rest of the time I used it. There is a noticeable difference, but not enough to be worth the money.
Those disruptions were plenty annoying too, and that other error that would happen like, once every other week with free trial logins. As it stands right now,
proxy is actually better.

On a funny note, they're now selling their product in Gamestops... LOL...

I signed up here just to give you this advice! I assure you I'm not being a creepy sale bot, I'm just simply trying to help! :D

My advice? Skip WTFast. The free trial is decent but the cost ends up being astronomical for what you get. Instead consider using Mudfish VPN. It's a small app that runs on your taskbar and is controlled via a web interface. Set the set up to PSO2, hit 'done' and that's it. You're good to go, it'll now auto intercept PSO2 data!

I use the program to play Monster Hunter Frontier and Gundam Online with drastically lower pings than through WTFast, even it's routing service is better, though probably needs more trial and error.

The downside however, and the big difference is you have to pay. Now wait wait, come back! You get a small free trial to see how it works and then the reason I recommend it over WTFast as $1 will last you around 3 months. The program charge you for data used rather than a flat rate. Just be sure to patch on your normal net connection, start up Mudfish then connect to the game!

All the transactions are done in Korean and it seems $1 in their currency goes a LONG way for gaming!

For 33c a month you can't complain too much!

Oh... that's another thing. WTCrap uses a lot of process power. Like.. wow, it's bad, as bad as Skype.
