A geez, did you really pull a joke on me

It doesn't open to any pastebin page, it just closes the tweaker

Also I can't use the new method cause then it proceeds to reinstall the ENTIRE game again.

What's your current version of Tweaker and where is your Tweaker located? Just want you to know that you can also navigate to PSO2 Tweaker's folder, open up logfile.txt, and you should see a history of your log for the times you've recently opened up PSO2 Tweaker. Copy and paste that logfile entry here.

Go back into PSO2 Tweaker and use the old method of Check for PSO2 Updates instead of the new one if the new one is giving you problems.

Most recent Tweaker 3.0.5.4, however It seems I have three different versions of the Tweaker and is using the 3rd one which is installed in Win32 for some reason.

I'm trying to first tweaker, and it's building a list of win32 files?

What extracted content is suppose to be with the Tweaker When you install it the first time?

That's why you only use tweaker to launch the game while using original JP launcher to update your stuff.

What's the point of using tweaker to launch your game if you update with the jp launcher already.

Item patch only works when you launch through Tweaker.

I used the original launcher as well and it said it was unable to update.

I'm uninstalling the English patches and trying again

Please post your logfile.txt, uploaded to pastebin.com (or another equivilent site). Thanks!

Yeah, it's a bug with TRANSAM Burst (the new method). I'm not exactly sure why it happens for a small amount of people, so I've re-enabled the backup code for the story patch, which should solve the problem until I can fix it. Sorry!

Tweaker I just installed:

Tweaker that was installed in System32:

A) You should never ever ever ever ever ever ever put any programs in System32. Besides the fact that it won't be able to read/write anything, it'll error for a multitude of reasons, and can even cause system exploits if the program isn't safe.

I never installed it personally into System32, It was there when I checked the file location.

It sounds like this is a .NET runtime issue - Try updating your .NET runtime or uninstalling and re-installing it.

I'll attempt this

C) Just to be safe, I'd also run a checkdisk on the hard drive, because that "hard drive is unreadable" could be a sign of a dying HDD.

The laptop is only a few weeks old, I don't see how the HDD can be dead so soon.

D) Try moving the Tweaker out of the "Documents" folder completely, into it's own folder like C:\Tweaker. Even subfolders in those "special" folders sometimes have weird permissions attached to them.

Doing this now, and uninstalling the Story patch at the moment.
