Keep getting error code 249, i know its not my connection so is pso2 down? or have we been locked out again?

All the ships have an Unknown status so i assume a maintenance is going on?

If anything try running with the PSO2proxy and see if it lets you on.

Also check for any missing or old files

The servers are online for me

Ggo ahead and navigate to this file in Windows Explorer (C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS) > Right-Click Hosts > Properties. The properties windows should display. Then, select the Security Tab > Edit > Add > Your Computer Account's Username (or "EVERYONE" so anyone can access it) > OK.

With the account you just added highlighted in the same “Group or User Names” area from the previous window, check the box to Allow for Full Control > OK.

Boot back up PSO2 and see if that resolves your issue!
