Question about shared ship

Okay, so I met this person on a challenge block who happens to have a Japanese name and I wanted to add him on the main ship. Is there anyway I can do that?

Are you sure you're both on the same ship? If you are, you can actually whisper them, both go back to same ship, and whisper again from log. If you can figure out a way to copy
their Arks ID, that's possible too. There was a site floating around here that translated from a url or picture file. I believe it was in Quick Questions Thread.
