Anyone else started getting FPS drop lately? Whenever I or someone change/load weapon, my FPS drop for a sec. It's pretty annoying especially in the lobby. :/

I dont know what cause it, but it's more frequent now for me, too much annoyance during quest, especially TAs when time = reward.

Well if more people have the same problem, we all know who to blame.

PSO2 FPS problem - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G34wmvQRFhc)

The only FPS drop I've gotten recently were when the servers are full and I would mess with the options menu

See, this is something else. The game has a problem where it will sometimes load up and cause points where it has to load other things (ie. your weapons) much more slowly which if bad enough can outright halt the game for a moment. Its been around for a long time, but generally restarting the game or restarting your computer and the game has been found to be a potential fix for it.

The English TA community at least calls it by "bad client" in which the client, your game client program which connects to the server, has issues on startup. To my knowledge, there's not really a 100% explanation of why it happens other than SEGA being bad, but its a well known thing.

Its not the same as the issue Shunx posted for sure. Not sure what to say with what he's got other than to check for viruses or whatever else might be running while PSO2 is up.

Thanks for the answer, I restarted my PC and the game is running butter smooth again, it also gave me an opportunity to clean the dust in my PC so maybe that helped.

The same thing happened to me. I tried rebooting, updating video drivers, putting all video settings at the lowest possible setting, and reverting all files back to JP in PSO2 Tweaker and re-applying the patches. The eventual fix for me was to reset all PSO2 Tweaker settings and to also reset all PSO2 settings. Not sure why that worked but it seemed to.
