If you're playing a Gu class make sure you get CT on your tree.. I just did a Magatsu and 3 of the Gu's in my MPA weren't even using CT. (Highly annoyed)

Don't play any Gu class if you're not going to even bother using Chain Trigger. That's where you get all your DPS from on Gu. CT + WB is wonderful. I'm not being a dick but it's important to do good DPS during a Magatsu. (If you didn't know now you know.)

Also if you see nobody else in the party as a ranger and you're Gu/Ra make sure you wb for everyone else. I know I know it sucks that you can't fully play Gu sometimes but you must sacrifice that for the MPA. On your last wb you can use chain. (1)

Weird, i started up a forest exploration on SH and chained a monkey and he said he seen it. He was in a different PT. Interesting well either way I guess Gu's can take this advice if they're not chaining lol / or Gu's not wbing if they're gu/ra.

yeah, you can't see other party's chain trigger. they most likely used it but didn't do enough damage or missed the chain due to laggin' magatsu or something

If you don't feel like using chain on bosses you shouldn't play Gu lol. You don't have to chain on regular mobs. You have all the time in the world to not chain on regular mobs but just chain on bosses. It gives everyone a better experience if everyone is geared up and using skills properly.

I've had times during MAgatsu where the MPA breaks the blood face in the chest before my trigger can reach 70, then I end up wasting it and waiting a good chunk of time for it to be off cooldown.

It says more about their overal design philosophy that it was so easy to do more than anything though. Threatening bans on people for it was a dick move on their part.

You only need to get to 18, building after that is generally not worth it unless it's a stunned boss like Magatsu (where you try to aim for 100).

It's for Chain F bonus. With the right Chain amount, CT's cooldown can be cut short enough to make it available at some key windows. The order I do it for Maggy is

- Start: 80-Chain Leg (chances are leg breaks)
- Break other leg, break hand covering stomach, break stomach face, Chain is up again.
- Either 20-Chain red face or 80-Chain black face, depends on WBs and MPA DPS.
- Follow the WBs until Energy Tsunami at the turn, 80-Chain there, S Roll the Tsunami then Finish.
- Freeze Maggy, 80-Chain the face
- Maggy launches Flying Face Bombs™ on gate, 80-Chain again.

If it's still alive after that, at least you can rest assured knowing you're not the dead weight. Pug life ;_;

Yes, it's not hard, but 18 chain is 300% modifier, then for every 10 after that, you only get an extra 20% damage, so you might as well not waste time building higher and higher and just start using your PAs.
