We probably won't know until tomorrow or a few more days. So far, people are just making guesses and saying that it does some thing and assuming it's Fact when there isn't any Info for the Potential out yet (People are saying it's a Damage increase / PP Reduction potential, yet have no physical proof.)

To my knowledge, potential is supposed to be % damage and pp cost down. Amount vary depending on weapons.

Swiki isn't yet updated eitheir, other than their individual page now being up.

Damage Up / PP Down has been confirmed by livestreams in the past. They give 3 or 6% damage up, and some value of PP down that is not shown.

Here's your proof, they had a stream for this.

Only thing that is unknown are the pp reduction values for both potentials, yes there are supposed to be 2 based on the stream.

People say that's what it is because that's what's been translated from pictures of the descriptions of the potentials when they were seen in the previous stream. We've had this info for over a month.

So is there a reason some get 3% and other get 6%? Is this some sort of hack job balancing you have to use grinders for? I assume the ones with the lower damage boost will get higher pp regen. Still seems odd they would be different though.

Perhaps you'll be able to choose between the two? Who knows.
Anyway, proof of the 3% damage potential version.

partial listing from JP wiki

3% = Rifle, Bow, JB
6% = Gunslash, Katana, DB, Launcher

Gonna need to wait a few more days for other weapons o-o

I'll just hope Tmg and Knuckle is on the 6% one >_>

Weird, you think Sega would just increase the attack base and make the potential pp reduction...

But then you would have less reason to suck off Dudu! The man needs his pleasure.

The guess is that the 3% one will have higher PP reduction than the 6% one, but no one knows for sure.

some slave is better than some xie's 13*

some slave is better than some xie's 13*

Thank you captain obvious. Ideal-tier dmg with 3%/6% dmg boost at level 3 pot, I'd say Xie 13*s are the worst 13*s atm, the only upside is they come with 30 elem.

Sword is one of the 3% weapons, rip. still getting it anyway

At least launcher is 6% though.

They may be the worst 13*, but they still outclass 11* (with some exceptions)

Apart from tech and Limit Break usage, all the 13★ are stronger than 11-12★. Because of this (and Ideals), I'd say that if you were after welfare 13★, the only one really worth going for from Shii is the Launcher (and I guess the sword if you use sword for some reason). Partizan, Wired Lance, Katana and DB are better under Limit Break, Rifle, TMG and Bow are more worth getting Ideal since bossing is their main strength (applies to DB too if you're main Bo), the Rod and Talis are weaker than the elemental versions I'm pretty sure, since the Ideals are. I dunno about the Wand, it's worse for teching but better for smacking, and I'm not really sure what I'd say is more important on Te because they are both pretty important.

It goes without saying that Ideals / Ares / Slaves are better than the Shii weapons for what they're best at.

The Daggers have the 3% version according to swiki

Those PP reduction values mean very little. I'm not sure why Sega think making it 14-20% would somehow break the game. Oh well, food for Ares

ZynischQ
Jun 12, 2015, 03:00 PM
I'd strongly advise against getting the wand, as the potential only boosts the power of PAs and techs, making it useless for whacks. If you must cast as a te/whatever you're better off grabbing the talis.

It also looks hideous but that's personal taste.

Jun 12, 2015, 03:16 PM
oh lol I completely missed that part... I'm dum.

Would make much more sense to get Ideal as a welfare 13* if you really wanted one, I guess, but teching is usually better with latents that boost it.

A quick 4rt calculation says blocker bredd is still slightly stronger than the tmg.

.....God dammit.

6% dmg boost / 6% pp reduction.
Hmm, doesn't actually sound all that bad.
Sure, it's not ares or ideal but it's basically fury boost potential + weaker version of light formation. It's not bad actually.

i just want to make sure 1 thing , you gain the extra damage and the PP cost reduction at the same time ? or are 2 separate potentials

Poyonche
Jun 15, 2015, 10:01 AM
You gain the two at the same time.
