Dear Arks!

I have the honor to announce to you the 'Tell a Tale 2nd' contest. This contest, like last time, is for you the creative thinkers and storytellers. Some of you might remember it, for all that do not let's recap it!
You are asked to tell us a story, any kind, with the help of pictures. You may take between 3 and 6 pictures to tell your story. The amount of text should be reasonable, not to much and not to less, you should use the help of at least 3 pictures and not more than 6 to keep the stories readable for the contest.
You can ask as many friends as you might need to help you with screenshots or participate in your story. But in the end it will be your story and that means you will be the winner that receives the prize.
To keep it fair and square we restrict it to Original screenshots only. Photoshop or any other means to manipulate pictures are not allowed, but of course if you are using ambient occlusion or the likes your screenshots will still be accepted.
Because it’s your own story we would like you to not use any screenshots of PSO2s story mode as well. Of course you are allowed to use characters that look like NPCs and build your story on PSO2's but we really want your own story and not PSO2's story retold.




To sum it up here again the rules:
Between 3 and 6 pictures
No Photo manipulation
No Story mode Screenshots
No 18+ content (nudity, pornography) it's a contest for all ages

I have been meaning to try this... but factors such as:
1) Trying to figure out what story to make in 3-6 pictures
2) The LQ
3) General laziness
4) Trying to farm meseta for those new wings (I have it already, just wanna make sure I am still comfortable monetarily speaking after blowing 35+ mil on two accessories... 13*s also needa be grinded and affixed...)
really tend to hinder any sort of progress that I might be willing to attempt be it mental or screenshot wise. I might have to whisper Vin to remind me :-P.

Would you mind to elaborate on the length of the story?

You did say:

But to me, I believe that everybody's standards are quite different for what "short" or "reasonable" is. If there could be a range on say, how many words, or maybe pages, I think that would help me plan out the story I will be writing a lot better.

I'ts hard to say, but I guess if possible not more than 500 words?
If its too much people will likely tend not to read it all. Of course there can be exceptions if its really necessary but if possible it should be around that. :)

Perhaps a visual of such would help cure the confusion? If this is somewhat a three to six panel strip then most likely 1~3 sentences would fair for each panel? Though this is the thought im running with.

From what I learned from short story competitions, the usual word limit tends to be around 2000 words. So I figured that was the limit for this one too. 500 is pretty nice though.

Due to some factors (health mainly) we decided to extend the event for another week.
If you already entered but want to change something about it (because of the new scratch or something) please send Vintasticvin the full updated story.
To all others, now you got a whole week to enter if you haven't yet. Nothing to loose here, only a chance to win. I'm sure there are some great stories still out there waiting to be told.
