Is it just me, or did they actually get worse after the patch?

I seriously have managed to fail 10 attempts in a row just trying to bring something from +5 to +6.

Iirc they just lowered the cost and max risk but left the grind success rates alone for 12*s

I'm assuming it's either that or they accidentally lowered the rates instead.

The patch notes state that the success rate was increased. Which I'm really not feeling at all. Maybe I just got exceptionally lucky with grinding my previous 12*...

A team mate went to 0 to 40+ for under 3M-ish. it's all RNG.

I spent a fortune doing a 10 or 11 star to +10 (no latent) the other day. Used tons of +1 and shit.
Yesterday? I got a Rindbloom (12 star) to latent 1 for like 1.5m. Barely used any risk reduction.

They should make 10 and 11 stars less bullshit.

I'm thinking that the rates listed on the JP wiki are probably inaccurate.

6 to 7 is supposedly a 40% success rate, but if that were true, I don't think I'd be failing five or more times in a row on a regular basis.

In any case, the suffering is over some six million meseta and 100ish risk reducers later.

Even 11* give me as much issue as 12* at times... before nerf. Anyways the only way youre going to see a real difference is if you grind during the upcoming boost week.

Just got a Gravilios to 40, I'd say it's more or less like an ★11 now.

What with Maggy's kind generosity, the only difference this makes is the amount of Excubes/FUN you need to throw at it.

I didn't notice them being any more difficult to grind than 11*s, 30% boosters and +1 reduction from 5-8 and then +2 reduction from 8-10. Usually can get it to +10 within 7-10 30%s.
