(Ship2) Boost Week Rare Gryphon Run (RIP cat)

Time: JST 8/4 13:00 NO DANCE!
Quest: BitBeach Wars 3 XH
Meeting Place: Block 6 Casino Entrance (temp)

Requirement:
- Level 70+, to run XH map
- A weapon that can kill things on XH maps, not umblla staff or fortune gunslash
- Sexy bikini swimwear
- The run will start sharply at [emergency quest time], if participants did not show up by 10 minutes earlier we may take people from reserved list to the main party (whisper me ingame if you need extra time)

Procedure:
- Gather at block 6 casino, preferably 15 minutes earlier
- Everyone will be given a MPA password, then start running eq solo
- I will include a briefing before starting the run to reduce chaos, hopefully

Before EQ:
- Chat room name and password will be given before the run
- Enter your [assigned#(without # sign or brackets) as your nickname in chat room (eg 1)
- In game, each player creates a [forest explore] solo party with room name "assigned# beach" (eg. 1 beach)
- Make the room restricted to all players on the MPA (the last password option)
(passwords will be given before the run)
- Type your assigned# in online status -> free message

During EQ:

- Each participate creates a beach wars 3 map (12 in total), run along the path C1(Start)→C2→B2→B3→B4
- If you get a NPC assist code at C2, pipe back and return to get rid of it, then precede to B3 (or other codes will not spawn along B3 to B4)
- If you reached B4 without finding a Nyau code, start a new map, you only need to run B2 B3 B4 zones
- If a Nyau code shows up along B2 to B4, break its sword and wait for summon
- If no rare gryphon, start a new map
- If the Nyau code spwans a rare gryphon, type "rare" in the chat room
- Other participants join the said map indicated by announcer's assigned number as "other" parties
- Hunt 250-300 points then gryphon
- After killing gryphon, split into 12 different maps again and find another rare gryphon


* If the solo party method is causing confusion we can use traditional 3-4 men parties instead
** Use window or virtual full screen mode to avoid crashing the game while alt-tabing!

I prefer using JST since people on this forum are from different timezones, so it may be easier to sync with server time.

For those who are trying to farm Rare Gryhpon
Here is a few changes from SEGA that are going to stop player from doing this

On the 29th July update patch

Clearing the quest "Beach Wars 3" on "Extra Hard"
will now give player gold badges

Clearing the quest "Beach Wars 3" on "Super Hard"
will give player silver badges

On the 5th August update patch

To start the quest
now require to start a transfer device
then players will be sent to the field

The probability of occurrence of rare enemy "Nyau" will now adjust
so as the occurrence position of "Nyau"
*but the probability of Nyau summoning Gryhpon does not change*

With previous gryphon runs done, the split mpa groups ran in different blocks to limit confusion/room scrolling.
Also, even if same password, not in the same mpa until actually joining due to using mpa lock from party settings.

I don't know if this has been pointed out yet, but the NPC codes that spawn in C2 don't block Nyau from spawning like the image says. You should only pipe up to get rid of the NPCs after Nyau spawns, so they don't keep hitting it and preventing it from dropping its sword.

Only large boss codes (Code: Duel) prevent Nyau from spawning as far as I know. Minibosses (Code: Attack) are fine, Nyau can spawn alongside those.
