Does anyone else twink their low leveled characters? I personally do it for many games I play, because I find it enjoyable.

My first twink in PSO2 is a Female Human Te/Br which I am still in the process of leveling. Prior to this, I was playing Jet Boots Fi/Bo so I had T-Atk units.

Notice the equip requirement, which was achieved using 30% relax and the requirement swap from casino. With a 200 T-Atk Mag I was able to equip the entire set @ level 4/2 with [Technique Up 1] rank 3.
Before and after. Saiki and 200 T-ATK Mag were equipped.

Now, at 16/7 with [Aptitude Up 1] rank 3, I would be able to equip Pristine Small Hammer with a 200 Dex Mag (yes I have a full Dex Mag). However, this would drop my T-Atk to 284 which insufficient to equip Saiki. Stats without any Mags as follows.

At 24/12, with [Technique Up 1] rank 3, I have 351 T-Atk, which lets me equip Saiki without assistance of a Mag. I then proceed to equip my Dex Mag and Pristine Small Hammers. I have a rainbow set of Pristine Small Hammers with identical affixes. Image for reference as follows.

I am aware that I would have been able to equip Pristine Small Hammers earlier by extending them, but that would take too much effort IMO, since you would have to extend the entire rainbow set.

My character is now fully twinked! Does anyone else do stuff like this? Would love to hear your strategies for twinking as well!

I know a lot of people here minmax... but at those levels it seems a bit impractical given how quickly you'd be going through gear. PSH is a decent endgame weapon though so I guess you're set for a while. I'm not going to say anything about your odd skill choices and dex mag though.

I have 4 Mags, 200 Striking/Ranged/Technique/Dexterity so yeah. I did make the Dex one solely for this purpose though. Could also use it for future twinks.

Hmm, what did you mean by odd skill choices?By that I meant I'm retarded I forgot aptitude up and tech up are required for the rest of your skills anyway. That was my bad.

Also I finally found the definition of Twinking you were using and realized I got it wrong. I thought it was something else, and a lot of stuff makes a lot more sense. (I still think of gay guys though). I dunno if "twinking" is all that common in PSO2, but I'm not really sure I understand how it's different from normal min-maxing anyway.

I kinda did when I started my new characters, but more in the "I have all this gear from when I was previously leveling up, so I might as well put it on them until they can equip better stuff." I know my extended Red Rifle carried Erin through most of her leveling.

I don't bother doing this for low levels because the remain as low level for an hour before getting to 50-60.

So like managing character growth? wtf is twinking.

Managing your character growth are completely impractical due to how fast you advance to mid-game in this game.
Aiming for specific end-game build seems to be more sensible.

Google "twinking" if you don't know what it means. There is even a page on Wikipedia about it.

If you can't be bothered, then it is basically giving a low leveled character access to high level gear. Commonly used term in Diablo and WoW. Think of it as New Game Plus.

So if you still don't get it, what I am trying to do is make a low level character as powerful as possible, to power through the game.

I am using end game gear, if you look at it. My character is also leveling normally, where I used Kressedia and Franka COs. The sub was leveled purely with the 10% from the main.

True, however I already have all of Koffie's CO done on this character. And I don't think a character like this would have any issues with her COs anyway!

Being strong early game may able to make your progress much, much faster.

Man, i hope there's bunch of newbs or people who leveling the low leveled class doing this on PSO2, but hell... who am i kidding anyway.

To me twinking in this game is rather boring at early levels. Even with 1* ungrinded gear your performance compares to usual lv75's performance in SH. Best part is around lv50 when I'm able to use most (if not all) of my endgame gear and not feel like a leech in SH EQs. But then I still want to cap faster.

PSO2 just doesn't feel like a game worth relevelling in.

Your last sentence is exactly why I twink. With the recent announcement of class mastery, I feel compelled to level every other class to cap.

This twinked character is able to level in LQ, and one shots mobs up to VH. Anga takes a while due to resists but leveling in LQ during boost week is really fast. Also helps that I do not need to wait for a MPA. Once I hit 40 I started soloing VHAQS anyway, or in a group when it was possible.
