Transfer to Ship 2?

So me and 3 friends started on Ship 9 roughly 2 to 3 years ago.

Most of us just came back from a long hiatus (me and 2 of the friends), and was wondering if it was worth transferring over to Ship 2 for stuff like CM and organized partying.

I'm not sure if we want to make or own team or make another.

If not Ship 2, what about the other ships?

Is it worth the cost?

About us: I would define us as semi-hardcores, we play games for a few weeks (sometimes months) roughly 4-6 hours a day after a work day and actively look at our gear to improve our damage output. Gearwise, most of us are still stuck in 10* gear (+10) and have a road map to get 11-13* stuff gear. I'm a 62/53 fo/te, another's a 64 braver, and my 2rd friend is 53/42 bo/hu.

Oh, we tend to hang around block 11, 37 and the vita super hard blocks a lot.

Chances are if we're on we're getting on to do something, and don't socialize at all :)

Regarding the EN community in Ship 9, we haven't found anyone yet. I've communicated with some people on Ship 9, but it was entirely in Japanese.

Only go to block 1 if you want SAs or a quick full Black Jack table in the casino since there tends to always be someone playing there on that block.

Just take note that you can only bring what you have on you, anything in your bank, premium or otherwise will stay on ship 9. You will also loose your room layout and all of your music registered in your room.

The two major Ship 9 EN teams are:

Royal Infinitum
Maple Leaf

imo both seem a bit dead from what I can tell. Can tell you RI is more SEA based and Maple Leaf is more US based.

Vanguard (US based) is english also. Kinda small and some are inactive due to other games.

Banhammer was EN but I think they died. Can't really recall anyone else at the moment.

Though if you really feel like Ship 2 is a better choice then you might want to move there. Ship 9 is pretty dead most of the time and its economy is god awful.

Ship 10 is also an option. Not as many English-speaking players, but they're still out there. And market prices are generally lower than they are on Ship 2.

eh, you can just use proxy chat and shared ship if you want to make organized CM though
