Hi, I've got a Japanese client for a (can't mention) server and would like to translate the intro to English (for which I have a copy of the client as well). I obviously can't swap one client for the other but would like to translate the intro and any similar cut-scenes (the in-game text is in English). Does anyone know which files are involved in the intro text and if there are more such cut-scenes that would need to be modified?
This is not a hack/cheat etc, just a simple translation attempt to enhance the experience for all players wanting a smooth gameplay experience, thanks for any help!
EDIT: Nevermind, found the answer for those interested here it is:
Swapping the opening_j.pae file in the data folder with a renamed opening_e.pae from the official US client version 1.24.3 (can still be found with some googling). I also found an ending_jp.pae that is exactly the same between both JP and US clients and that file just represents an ending screen without any text.
