Any where other than Playasia and AmiAmi that I can get my hands on the Phantasy Star Online 2 EPISODE 1&2 Setting Material Collection? Maybe a digital version?

Jp amazon, and it'll be cheaper.

Dunno about digital ones.

These books can be a pain in the neck to find, yeah. I got the 2012-2015 Fashion Catalogue on eBay after someone bought it and used the item codes, and put it up basically new, maybe you might luck out there. Or perhaps later, finding it used on Mandarake or Yahoo Auctions Japan. You'll be needing a proxy service, though.

Nah, no actions, just want item codes. Can you order from amazon JP with being in Japan or..?
Edit: nevermind found it, it's out of stock.

Any idea if any physical stores have them?

You could try ordering from a Kinokuniya if there's one near you. Otherwise you'd be advised to look for a middleman who does direct Akiba purchases.

Edit: And no, you don't need to be in Japan for books.

CDJapan also was stocking it (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK-1851880), that's where I ordered mine from. Unfortunately you've missed the boat by a week or so, it's out of stock everywhere currently. Might be worth just keeping an eye on AmiAmi, CDJapan and Amazon JP in case it gets a restock at some point.

I was hopping the fashion catalogue would be restocked by the release of this book and order both from amazon.jp, but nope, amazon is filled with second hand ones from people that provably only wanted the code :S I hope they are restocked in the future, what is the expiration date of the codes?

I want the books the most, but since I'm paying full price I want the codes as well, but in the worst case scenario I will get them second hand, but that will be in a long time.

Too bad you actually want the codes out of the book. I'm sure someone has scanned and uploaded them by now.

The code is usually inside a paper you have to tear to be able to read it.

Haven't seen any of the scans so far. I'm kinda interested the concept art inside.

Have you been to the PSO2 cafe in Shinjuku yet? I'm living in Japan right now and unfortunately don't know anyone interested in going.

One of the first things on the holiday agenda ^^;

I don't mind going again but I'll only be around for the weekend before heading back.

I really need to make sure I go before it closes at the end of the month! Only a few days left now.

To be a bit more on topic I haven't seen this book on sale in any stores in Japan either. Just as Sega's merchandise booth at TGS.

As soon as it was back in stock at Play Asia, it sold out.

Item codes go to the Visionphone on PSO2, should be a 16 digit redeem code option on there, they end up in your bank or inv once you do.

I think he might mean where to find the code after you buy the book.

You can check your gift code on [マイページ(My Account)]. Please refer to below for details.

1) Check your gift code and copy
Copy gift code (16 digits) from [マイページ(My Account)] > [購入特典(Purchase Bonus)]

Most likely this, if not: email.

Amazon JP is selling a digital version of the book with the code as well. It's for Kindle, but you can just download a free app for it from iOS App Store or Google Play. Could also download the app using Bluestacks if you don't have a phone.
