is it a fix spawn or random over map?

from where i found them
pd: bottom left 2 time
double: bottom left 2 time, top mid 1 time

Super tired but this is what I recall:

Top middle = Double, Apprentice
Top right = Nyau (Gryphon, Spiderwoman)
Right = Bleu Ringarda
Center = always toy robot
Left = Bird Darkers
Bottom left = Hunar -> Dio Brando, Double, Nyau (Spiderwoman)
Bottom middle = Apprentice

It does seem like those spots spawn the Falzes repeatedly.
In 3 runs:
Bottom left: 2 Falz Hunar, 3 Deo Hunar, 3 Double
Top Mid: 5 Deo Hunar, 1 Apprentice, 3 Double

Also, no Nero drops from any of them running 250%+tri50.

I got 9 phantom stones on 1 full run and 2 crashed runs. It only asks for 60 stones per 20% Ares. So I guess that's free ares for all. Given I will go Light and Fire Austere, dunno what would I do with an Ares Rod.

I took down a Dio on my own in about 3-4 minutes. I was left alone because I missed some code.

If they're giving out Ares this freely I expect after the usual Xmas boost week, Ep4 and 14★s are going to be a huge step up.

I wish they'd always give stones for clears. At least then you're guaranteed to get something.

B2, B3, C2, D1, D2 and maybe E2 seem to be the places that don't spawn anything worthwhile, I've only had time wasting trash mobs and Decol Malluda in those locations. Depending on how the spawns work I'm thinking running between E1 and A2 without going across B2 and D2 (basically an odd S shape) would probably be ideal.

Also Nyau isn't a guaranteed Gal spawn, I had a GGG from one of them.

real talk I prefer the VH-SH Elder age of PSO2 where top tier weapons were lottery prizes and they had broken potentials so you could bring something unique to the MPA

I would love this but I kinda just wanna TA and not being able to because I have to win the lottery or grind until I die kind of sucks.

If you're going to be doing that path you may as well extend it out a bit to cover the Nyau spawn and another Double spawn too.

Unless of course this quest is just going to become a shit show just like TOT, with people only interested in farming for one specific boss rather than all of the ones that can drop 12/13*s.

If by only slightly better you mean cutting out 3 major time wasting slow trash mob spawn points (B2, D2, E2), then... sure? Cutting off A2 is dumb as hell since it can spawn Hunar or Double, plus you're right next to it.

D1 and E1 is arguable, personally I think it's a waste of time since you're going through another slow mob spawn (with the potential to be a Decol) for the iffy chance of a Nyau that spawns Gal. But then I don't care about Gal weapons, where it seems most players do. Considering he doesn't seem to spawn elsewhere I doubt most people want to cut that corner out.

I don't mind the stone grind but what I can't stand is it being the only reliable way to get the exact 13* you want because the drop rates on them are either too abysmal or having no control over what drops.

E1 - Nyau - Gal
C1 - Apprentice/Double/Hunar/Dio
A3 - Double/Hunar/Angel/ Nyau - Gal
C3 - Apprentice or NPC EC

Scatter around some minor bosses and Umbras/Jokers in the other sections I didn't name.

He drops no 13*s. Only stones. His stone drops are generally better than Anga though.

I'd see way more Anga than Dio though. eh Christmas isn't so good this year. If only there was a 13* area drop or something, would encourage people to stay for PSE burst at least

I still can't help but feel like the whole 13 star farming thing is bad game design.
The EQs put me to sleep last year too though. I skipped most of them.

it depend on what you aim for since dio have no 13*

if you aim for him and his df friends then L route
if you aim for nya then a3 and e1

In the 3 times I've done the EQ I've only seen Deo in A3, and nothing really good from C1. Seems best to just spawn A3 as often as possible, probably by going to C2 and back.

Farming beats rng fueled hunting every time in my book.
But I know what you mean and it's retarded.
Had people leave me at 2/12 when we had no boss for 9 minutes. As if starting a new mpa will make the rng spawn more bosses next time.

I probably wouldn't mind farming so much if it wasn't always so damn specific.
It's always "do this one thing over and over that'll put you sleep" instead of "do a bunch of varied things that won't bore you to death".
Or "do this boring stuff over and over and maybe, just maybe, you might get one of the drops needed".

You want Nemesis? Farm Ultimate Naberius. You want Slave? Farm Ultimate Lilipa.
You want Skull weapons? Farm Free inner Kuronia or whatever it's called.
You want Ares? Ultimate Nab or Ultimate Lilipa. Gal Gryphon? Latest EQ.
Occasionally there'll be an extra source, eg. the current limited quest. But it's still not enough variation for me.

Current Badge gathering is done better. It feels like there are a bunch of sources for Badges, that I can do other stuff and they pile up by themselves.
It's a shame that Badge stuff is crap.

If we had a few more Challenge Quests, I'd probably play that more.

Because we only have two of them and everyone's sick to death of them already.
Even the new ARKS one is something fresh and interesting, but obviously doesn't last long and has garbage returns.

If they added like 10 CQs at once with the same quality as the ones we have now, I'm sure people would be pleased. I know I would.

But the problem SEGA then faces is how to herd players into a specific quest.
With how the block system works, parties would be all over the place.
That's one of the other reasons why we have single dripfeed and scheduled crap. Keeps everyone in order.

It's nice to be able to hear Angel's theme again, even though it seldom makes it past the first verse before he dies.

You need to go all the way to the edge of C1 (don't go too far and trigger D1 spawns) after clearing Huey because C1 has two different spawn triggers for some reason. Apprentice and Double might be the other way around, I'm not sure which is from which spawn point but it doesn't really matter. Off the top of my head I've seen Huey → Dio, Huey → Luther, and Apprentice → Double.

Running the EQ, did a Patty and Tea trial in A-3. Snow Banshee suddenly spawns in... A-2. I was watching the minimap, literally no one in the MPA touched A-2, so I have no idea how that happened.
