Quick and simple translation is that they're changing the time of the maintenance this week.

12/16 (Wed) 11:00 ~ 17:00 -> 12/16 (Wed) 2:00 ~ 17:00 [15 hour maint.]

for Time Zone:
PST - 12/15 9:00 AM ~ 12/16 12:00 AM
EST - 12/15 12:00 PM ~ 12/16 3:00 AM
CST - 12/15 11:00 AM ~ 12/16 2:00 AM
GMT - 12/15 5:00 PM ~ 12/16 8:00 AM

To other

So pretty much 3hours after the last scheduled PD EQ for this week is the maintenance.

Wonder what's the reason for the long maint? If it was an actual update that's understandable, but TD4 isn't until the 12/22 Maintenance/Update.

I think it may be early preparation for Episode 4 in January, so maybe there won't be long maintenance times the day it actually hits. That's my guess anyway. I would say that Christmas could have something to do with it but there will be a maintenance on the 22nd so that's not it, but it would be cool if they did have the bugs worked out and decided to release next week's patch early as an early Christmas present.

I know. I'm just wondering why the Americans can't do the same.

Too busy trying to commit violent crimes on each other

My bet is "server equipment maintenance".
You know, those cables got tangled real easy.

Maybe for testing the new password system?

OTP performed really badly recently. And if I recall correctly, they are planning to install Google's certification system.

Why do you guys need to attack me and say that i'm lazy?

But let's go this way because i'm pretty sure everyone and the mods think i started a fight here.

There was 3 USA timezones. Why? WHY?

The rest of the world can google the timezone but the USA players not.

And i'm the lazy? Sure, if that makes you happy.

Well yes TBH you really do come off as a jerk.

The OP was nice enough to not just translate it, but provide the timings for three timezones representing the majority of traffic to this site per Alexa (http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/pso-world.com). Chances are the OP is American, nothing wrong with that.

You represent a minority. That's fine. And yes, no one in your region had taken the initiative to post for their timings yet.

However, if you are concerned that people in EU need to take the effort to Google, the decent thing to do would be to find the timings yourself, then made a post like "Thanks OP! For the people in [Insert Area Here], the timings would be [Insert timings here]." That's Manners 101.

OP even said that maintenance will take place 3 hours after the last scheduled EQ, you can easly hit EQ google calendar and just add 3 hours.

Google '<time> EST to <your timezone>'.

Google '<time>' works when you only want to know what time would that be in your place too.

Example: googling "16 JST".

On Google Chrome...might need location service from phone too maybe.
