Profound Darkness finger lasers not visible?

I recently picked up a vita so I wouldn't have to bust out my laptop at work to play some PSO2 and I noticed something about PD's finger lasers that I'd never seen before. There are small lines that indicate where the finger lasers are going to be, but on PC I've never seen these. I asked another friend who played on PC while we were fighting PD if she could see anything like that but she couldn't either. Do these lines only show up on lower settings? I run PSO2 at max settings on PC.

Yeah, PD does use energy balls sometimes. I should have worded the topic title better, I can always see the lasers when they come out. Just not the small lines that show where they are going to fire at.
