Needless to say, that's shitty.

I still have questions despite that such as:

-Is this for real? Is SEGA trying that hard to keep saiki units as the endgame?
-Austere weapon + 3 units is two 2-sets like ideal? If so, what's the other bonus?

We only know the bonus for weapon+leg since nobody has the stones to trade for rear/arm yet, but chances are rear/arm bonus is DEF based as well (since both invade bonuses are ATK based).

According to the item description the innate bonuses for the individual units are HP, PP, and defences, but we don't know exactly how much.

I'd say you should sell your invade units, looks like austere is going to be DEF-based unless those individual bonuses give you amazing PP (and even then no ATK).

It sounds like Sakai so it stays as the boss until Ep4 comes with Sunagamu units or something.

More curious about Tianbital or Gloambital at this point though.

So, the aim is making people get Rear + Arm ..... with the freedom of choosing the Leg unit that depends on Weapon of choice? Not so bad :o

But it should be depends on the Rear + Arm set bonus, of course.

Fuck the price shot up fast.. Doesn't seem like I'm gonna miss out too badly anyway due to that set bonus though.

Damn, was too late to remove the leg I had for sale. Only 2,5M instead of current 8M

What about individual stats of the unit?

EDIT : the rear has 70 HP and 5 PP as innate bonus, maybe other units have the same bonus?

Basic defense Stats is listed here (middle) (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%82%AA%E3%83%95%E3%82%BC%E3%83%AB%E3% 83%A0)

A .... mini-Saiki

If all 3 part give same 70HP/5PP (like invade all 60HP/6PP) ...

Whole set with weapon:
260HP
35PP
60 S/R/T-Atk
100 DEX
80 S/R/T-def
6 Ice/Wind/Light resist

Well, full Austere weapon + units (bonus only, excluding hidden stat) :

+50 HP (Rear + Arm)
+20 PP (Rear + Arm)
+60 All Attack (Rear + Arm)
+100 Dex (50 from Rear Arm + 50 from Leg Weapon)
+80 All Defense (Leg + Weapon)

Seems to be limited to Orbit Users for now (pretty nice effect) ...... it'll give +110 All Attack if using Austere Rear + Arm and Orbit Weapon + Leg. 60 and 50 respectively.

meh not worth the effort needed and saiki is more craft compatable

They really worked themselves into a corner with saiki set bonus, and crafting. Only way to win over saiki is a: give a unit a passive PP amount > 10, and b: have a larger PP set bonus than 25.

Saiki for life.
Give it some time for EP4 hits and let them add more new units.

We could get units with like 120 atk that would make it worth to switch.
Or whatever, Sega is just stupid.
TBH I don't even care until we get 12* units cause if I get 5 more pp here or 20 more atk there is nothing worth mentioning.

And at the moment rear units are the only one in the game that have options better than crafted stuff but Sega won't give us a decent arm + leg set that is at least as good as Saiki when combined with these rear units, let alone a reason to switch from Saiki.

I kinda wanna redo some units but at the moment it's just gonna be 30mil spent on barely 3% better stats.

It'd be much favorable to Saiki if instead of just high pp bonus, they would be set effect with movement spd bonus or pp recovery effect.

If you plan on using an Orbit weapon, the Rear + Arm Austere and Orbit Leg + Weapon make a great 2 sets bonus with +110 ATK.

It also grants quite a lot of HP and PP on its own with all pieces bonusses too.

also need neros and td stones and the invade units themselves just to get the units. not worth at all especially if you already have saiki

Let's not forget most weapon categories don't even have an orbit weapon.
