Yes, it was "expected" to be that long, though on most case it can be finished earlier, or worst case they pull another extension.

If I recall correctly, when EP3 was released, the maint ended about 2-3 hours early at 14:00-15:00 JST, buuuuuut that probably will be the only time.

Shouldn't be problem unless SEGA messed up somehow, lots of people already patched their game.

I hope SEGA doesn't mess with the tweaker, I tried the non-tweaker method on a spare laptop that is a pso2 and tweaker "virgin" so to speak.

well, looks like you will have to delete your entire game folder and redownload just in case. ps. dont believe everything you read on the internet.

Even if that were the case, I have ep3 installer, 2 backups of my pso2 (January 21, 2016) folder on 2 separate eternal drives along with a backup of the precede files.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on. Supposedly the servers are up according to bumped, but my game keeps crashing at the title screen, even when launching from the official JP launcher with no patches installed.

Bumped is most likely just trying to ping the server and if they get a respsons then they show it as online.

The servers are responding to pings, but they aren't online for you to play on.
