Unlocking Ep3 MB on a new char

I made a new char when ep4 came out, I have went as far as I can on ep4 for now, But when I log in on ep 1-3 I only have ep1 MB available to me. Can anyone shed some light on what is required for ep3 unlock ???

Completing Ep1 and 2 is the only way to unlock EP3 at this time.

Specifically, clear Chapters 1-10 and 2-6

1-EX (Matterboard 1-11) and 2-EX (does not have a Matterboard) are not necessary to progress further and are just extra content

episode 4 is unlocked right off the bat for everyone and new chars start in it

if you're in EP1~EP3 mode, yes; if you're in EP4 mode, they're freely available

There's a new set of units in ep4 that are about as good as those Hiei units, so it's not all bad.

Those sub units without 60 atk 10PP set effect?Let me rephrase that. They're good enough to carry you through VH until you can catch up on the matter boards to get the Hiei set or something better. There are honestly better units you can just buy from the player shops for cheap, the only reason Hiei is even useful is because the set comes pre-affixed.
