If anyone is curious, I was able to open the game and get to the ship select screen using my NA account, so I'm hoping I can use it for the PS4 version (since it's already registered for the Vita version). Unfortunately it's still downloading something in the background and the ships say "maintenance" so I can't actually try to log on yet, but I will post when I am able to test it out.

you need to make JP account to access JP PSN store in which you put that beta code.
you will then receive pso2 beta client (37.8gb).

I like the graphics it makes the characters look like anime Pvc figures and it looks really improved from the original specially the shadows and the reflections on Cast parts.

For example, I noticed the default red beret accessory looks very shiny.
I hope none of my stuff ends up looking unnecessarily shiny or something.
I know they made some changes to accessories for the rotation/scale features, and that ended up making some accessories not look as good.

It's Sega. Pretty much all of their beta tests are controlled timeslots. (most of which happen to occur when westerners are at work/school)

Theres a few ways. The easiest way would be to hop onto your JP PSN account using google chrome and have it auto translate the pages, then navigate to the spot you enter the code.

Otherwise, on the PS4, navigate to the playstation store. On the main menu, browse down to the spot where you enter the code. The image on the right side will have the number "12" and a pencil.

As mentioned above you need to use vpn since SEA contries are IP-Blocked, here is a guide on how to set up Vpn on PS4:

Its a bit more complicated than connecting from the pc because you need specific router and paid VPN but i think its the only way.

Edit:Or just try to create a SEGA ID using a Pc and try to log in on the ps4.

Is it possible without plugging in a mouse or keyboard to make the Item preview box bigger as It defaults very small. [Incase I'm not explaining it well I am referring to the box it shows when you select/attempt to buy an item from the playershop to let you preview It on your character]
