2000, PSO.
2006, PSU.
2012, PSO2.
PSIV was 1993, which is close to 6 years before PSO.

What does this mean? Will we get a new Phantasy Star in two years? Or will PSO2 be the longest running series of the franchise?

Descendant of the Waber. You must bare the DB Sword of old and save the universe. Like the Waber before you.

Phantasy Star Online C.A.R.D. Revolution 2. It will be a mobile exclusive card game that has all the NPC characters from all past Phantasy Star games, and with its release, PSO2 support will be dropped.

I would be okay with this if pso2 support continued, and C.A.R.D. took more of a hearthstone approach with desktop and mobile versions.

I'm holding out for Phantasy Star Turbo, which is just re-releases of every prior Phantasy Star game, but with the in-game speed quadrupled.

It'll be a FPS shooter, albeit with a shit ton more mobility. Make Titanfall look like molasses.

Honestly, I feel like they didn't do enough with PSO2's 3PSing. It started off as the way to play Ranger, but it seems like that became less and less true as they gained more skills. PS3ps does seem like it could be fun. Especially since the coolest PS characters wield guns as heavy as they are (unless they're androids, unless androids are lighter than they look).

How about for 2016, they just bring over PSO2 with full content!

Or just be years behind, with a promise of updates. (lol, promises)

I would seriously shovel money at it.

Honestly it's a pretty shit game. The core gameplay is good, but the balance and updates are so terrible that there's no fun to it.
Dancing with a group of wolves in the forest? Fun. Soloing Vol Dragon? Fun. Killing Vol Dragon in a minute while it sits stunlocked? Not fun.

I actually had more fun with PSU than PSO2 >_> Biggest complaints on PSU were how Sega of America handled shit, not the game itself.
Wish that last game in the PSU franchise had gotten ported to English PSPs.
