it isnt a bad idea, you can use them as the speed rings on Tokyo., you do some kind of tackle with them, you kill the enemies and you can call them again.

Dragon Nest has mounts too. And Warriors run faster, there's teleporter in town also. They are just for cosmetic value.

Well, April Fool aside, I do think that Ragne offers a... seat like back which is also function as a place for weakpoint. Might wanna ride that.

Fang/Snow also provides decent ride though, like you won't fall backwards if the butt armor is not yet destroyed and kinda act as saddle.

Other choice might be Ringaldha. And seriously, we already climbed Big Vardha alot, why not ride on it? (size issues aside)

Joke aside, I think it would be cool if they designed a mount tree into the SU class, so it's less linear, but in a game with no actual map to speak of, I don't see the need for a non-combat mount, and see many potential flaws with a combat mount being available to all.

It's been a while, but I wanna say it was Maple Story that generally gave all characters a non-combat mount for faster travel, but they eventually did make one specific class that was based around a combat-mount.
