Since I haven't seem them around anywhere, I thought at least someone would like to look at some of the concept art and stuff that was thrown in here. It's pretty neat stuff. (Images might break, because I'm incompetent and I don't know how images work here.)

DISCLAIMER: These are not scans, these are camera pictures. I'm not going to tear the poor thing apart just for a nicer image.

UPDATE: Added Halkotan script chart, Halkotan concept art, and Double pocket universe concept art.

Adding Profound Darkness. Since you asked, I grabbed Falz Angel and Loser from the EP1&2 book as well. They're a bit blurry, since I rushed a little.

UPDATE: I wasn't happy with the results, so I went back and redid the pictures under better conditions.

Also, various ARKS Ship tidbits:

- The hull is composed of a photon-coated metal to protect against space travel. Some degree of self-repair in case it ever gets damaged.
- About 70km long. Compare this to the Mothership, which is about 500km long.
- Wields a variety of laser cannons and missiles in case of attack. Holding capacity is about 10,000 Campships. Doesn't include Platform Ships, which are also there in case something like, say, the Profound Darkness attacked.
- Cities also contain various recreational facilities. Built on the water so they resemble floating islands. The artificial sky is capable of reproducing weather effects artificially, such as rain.
- Primary method of city transportation is on foot and by car. Cars are fueled by photons because it's cheap, free, and clean. Barricades and turrets are built in in case of Darker attacks (and we know how effective they are).
- Also contains agricultural facilities for crops and livestock.
- They have school there too.
- Also contain a network for filming, producing, and broadcasting live television.
- Each ship contains two Bridges, one at the front and one at the rear. They do the same thing, but one is a backup for when the other one fails.
- Cities are covered by a huge dome that's equipped with shutters that close in case of an attack.
- The Gate Area is located at the back of the Ship.

These were actually talked about in a cutscene with Matoi in EP1, as I recall. The whole "everything is artificial" thing in the Ship cities was the main motivation for why quite a few characters became ARKS; because they wanted to see something real and natural for once.

Makes me wish that rather than just hearing about this from Matoi (and from this Material Collection), we could have actually get a cutscene of the PC and Matoi actually walking in the city and be given all the info about the city features from a third party.

Pretty much the only time the PC is ever in a Ship city is when its under attack.

Knowing this, Patty and Tia should be given their own News-reporting TV show or at least an independent internet vlog series :-D

I do like that the Clarissa III has a simpler and smaller design (the Clarissa II was way too big and looked overcomplicated) but I don't see the point in giving it the function to make itself more compact when all ARKS weapons can simply vanish into thin air when not in use and the characters in cutscenes are never seen with their weapons holstered anyway. Then again, quite a few weapons in the game have the function to make itself more compact.

I think it's just attention to detail. The only way you'll ever see it holstered is if you beat MB3-7, play EP1~3, run into Matoi in an E-Trial, beat all of the enemies, and stand around for a few seconds. Given the number of conditions to be met, this pretty much means "never".

The episodes have their own charm attached to it. EP4 is a hit and miss for many though, they started with a great premise and great starter, but we don't know when the eventual peak is coming up and that worries me. I don't mind focusing on hitsugi, as she seems to be the new side character, and Mother Cluster is a global organization. But they haven't resolved certain things that they left open, starting with PD, such as its escape.

Could theorize plenty on things, but it's full of uncertainty. Can't say it isn't detailed, as EP4 is contains plenty of detail. But it doesn't have a direction, it goes all over the place and none of us can sense where it can and can't go. It's not a story/lore killer, but this is the result of a story writer who uses too many tropes in a single piece.

That said, I wish we could get a better scan of the Profound Darkness tidbit there. Curious to see what it says fully.

According to Tsukuriyo's keyword entry, it possesses almost as much to equivalent strength as a Genesis weapon despite not being powered by the same core as one.

Such a badass design that would've made for a badass boss fight but villain sues, Dark Falz Double just HAD to ruin that by committing complete ethnic cleansing of the entire Kuronian race. Seriously, the way the Harukotan war was resolved in the story was so anti-climactic.

[SPOILER-BOX]http://i.imgur.com/Qxkssf2.jpg[/SPOILER-BOX]

Prototype Matoi's outfit looks amazing. While its sad that the outfit never made it in, I'm glad that the idea of making her paraplegic never made it into the game mainly because it'd be taking the "damaged bird" gimmick of her character to the extreme. Matoi (for EP1 and 2) is supposed to act as a ray of sunshine in Playa-chan's life during their free time. If she was in a wheelchair, not only would that be too depressing but Playa-chan's motive for assisting in her recovery would be done more out of pity (and guilt if they complete MB2-6 and discover Persona's identity) than out of genuine fondness for her and she'd end up feeling even more like a tacked-in main heroine.

His will was strong enough that his clone was able to reach out and warn Sukunahime that Double end up having forced to eating him again. I kinda like that scene.

They could have gotten rid of the wheelchair and keep her proto design. Didn't really like how Matoi Ep1 looked like, but..that's just me.

Well, I admit that it showed why Sukunahime had a positive and respectful opinion of the Black King, the revelation we got completely dumbed down the Harukotan war from what I thought was a conflict between flawed but not monstrous factions who hold different views into a simple "Its all those annoying kids fault" conclusion. Made worse that the fate of the Kuronians were treated too passively. You'd think that the complete genocide of an entire race would be taken a little more seriously but nope, its all black and white (no pun intended).

I'm sure its not just you. Quite a few found Matoi's EP1 outfit to be somewhat tasteless. Just look at the tight black leather attire she wears underneath. Not only are her panties completely visible without the need to move the camera underneath her, with her completely white and loose dress being the only thing covering her breasts, if she were to walk over an air vent that's still switched on.... ooh, boy. That said, I'm pretty okay with the EP1 outfit as its still nowhere near as bad as her awful EP3 outfit. Why her EP3 post-credits outfit wasn't available as a Partner Card, I have no idea.

EP3 Afin's Assault Rifle looks incredibly uncomfortable. Assault Rifles have you holding it close to your shoulders and, when shooting, close to your face. So, with those edges on it... ouch. Heck, that little horn in the front would probably make it harder for an aim-down-sight firing. It fits Afin's new look design-wise, though.

The Quna stage design with the dragons on it look great but I imagine it got cut out because it didn't fit the cute theme that Quna has. The hexagonal one at the top looks great too.
