PSO2JP Bad Image Error

Hi everyone,

I just have this error when I reinstall the game and update tweaker. Everything went right at the first place, from prepatch installing to updating. When I launch the game, this message pop up.

Can anyone help me with this error?

I'm not very computer literate but I see you're using the D drive for pso2 here. Have you ever successfully run pso2 before? Have you tried fresh installing it without english patches to make sure it works properly first?

As a general rule of thumb, always install the game with just Japanese first and run it to make sure you're not missing some important files or what not. When that works, then you can apply patches.

The only other bad image result I get in google is someone redownloading the english patch until it eventually worked. This was a few years ago tho: http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3070588

When I start playing PSO2, I installed it in D drive, and it started up very smooth until April 20th grand update. I installed the full game with the english installer and Tweaker was the final thing I installed at that time.

Do you get bad image errors on other games and applications too or just pso2?

With pso2, try checking for missing or old files with the tweaker and then do a file check. You might also need to update your drivers if you haven't already. That update was pretty huge.

I only get it with just PSO2, and this lead me to another type of irritation

Just copy the url of the pastebin that it gives you and post it in the tweaker thread here: http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207248&page=679

That way the tweaker devs will see what's making it break.
