keeps saying gn field is corrupted or redownloading, then it comes up in bottom right saying waiting for pso2 to close? but it never launches...

Most likely need to disable AVG.

It's whatever anti virus you're using. Disable it.

game was working fine all day..

Just fixed this error (sorry if its a bit late).
