So I paired my main PSO2 account with a throwaway japanese PSN account. I really wanna play the game on my main PSN account so I can get the trophies, and not have to actually hop accounts and what not.

I have a lot of items from compensation and previous events (skill reset passes, tri-boosts, half dolls, extreme passes and casino cards).
If I were to make a new account to play on my main PSN, is there a way to transfer my equipment to the new account? I don't mind having to buy AC to do it.

Or should I just ditch the idea and deal with swapping accounts everytime I want to play?

edit: I've tried emailing Sega.JP a couple of times to see if I could get them to reset my PSN registration, but they haven't replied after a couple of weeks or so.

Compensation Items are account bound, and SEGA doesn't do item transfers unless you lost them from a compromised account access (i.e. hacker sold/deleted your items) in which they'll revert changes done to your account.

Other than this, you're SOL.

The process would be rather expensive and complicated, but you could buy Premium for both accounts, log into both of them at the same time, and trade everything.

So, if I couldn't trade my skill resets, or my make-over passes, can I trade my tri boosts, lambda grinders?

As far as I can tell, Boosters and Lambda Grinders are untradeable, so no dice on those. Most other stuff is okay.

Unfortunately regarding reseting/changing linked PSN and PSO2 accounts, it has been said that sega has stopped doing so for a while now. So you'll likely find that you'll be unable to unlink your PSN account from its new PSO2 account.
Could be wrong as may have changed, but haven't heard otherwise/remember seeing similar posts when PS4 version came up.

As has been said, anything untradable is untransferable even with premium. Which would include makeover passes, lambda grinders, triboosts, and all else mentioned so far. Also 13*'s are untransferable.

For equipment, 9* below is transferable without premium while 10*+ is transferable with premium, but would require the new account to get 10*+'s of its own to trade in for passes. One weapon/unit for one respective pass of same rarity. (For example, 3 11*'s, new account would have to get 3 11*'s of its own to trade in for 11* passes which can then be used to trade for main accounts 3 11*'s)
Clothes, camos and otherwise however are transferable without premium.

Assuming level 75 on main account, can transfer without premium (though not perfectly guaranteed) via getting my shop pass (fun scratch, will take -many- tries so likely only to be done at 75 when can freely convert cubes into infinite fun) and being on both main and new account at same time. Have new account camping main account's shop, then place item on shop for 1050 meseta and have new account buy immediately.
It's not 100%, but have given many (at least 20+) costumes, camos and slightly prepared equipment pieces this way to multiple friends and haven't had a failed case yet.

With premium, there should be a trade function and if that fails there are also gift boxes for my room that can be used. Believe above restrictions still apply though and require equipment passes. Also there is a team storage which can be used as well, but also requires premium as well. All of these require premium on both accounts however.
(Never owned premium, so others with may have knowledge of other functions)

If not yet 75, transferring equipment is likely questionable and unnecessary however, so as to be not worth the effort. (Not yet having max element/grind 11/12* goods with some affixes)

Opinion-wise, having to play on two different accounts would likely end up as too much effort and one would probably wind up only playing on one account. So play on PC or PS4 exclusively, depending on preferred setup and how far along you are on main account. (Ex. Not 75 on any class, should definitely feel more than free to "restart" on PS4)

tl;dr - Suggestion = if sub-75/not decked out, play on new account if want to play on ps4 without transferring goods.
Unfortunately its a tough case, but good luck with however you choose to deal with the situation!

@Spiral: How often do they give out character makeover passes? I have 4 of them right now. I have a few 10-11 star weapons, and possibly a 12 star (with crappy attributes)

I did spend money on inventory slots (maxed out on my main character) and crafting things. I might restart but just have both accounts on hand.

Makeover passes likely come out often enough that you won't need to worry about it unless getting a makeover once a week.
Note that does not include color change if using a CAST character. (Recycle shop or from less frequent than makeover pass hand outs)

Depending on how often one chooses to login, makeover passes are regularly supplied as is part of the login stamp card. (Apparently the 25th reward, card resets after 30th day) If logging in everyday, you should have one pass guaranteed per month from login bonuses. (Seeing as spent money on the game, premium would net you two per month since apparently they get double login stamps)
In addition, believe it is often found in the current bingo card (for example, back side of the current one) which are changed out maybe two or three months. (Not perfectly sure on this, estimation)
Also, believe they are periodically given out in campaigns (and much like most online games, there is always some excuse to have a campaign running the majority of the time) - some may be secret words (go see bumped or swiki periodically, then type in said kana or copy/paste them) and some may be for logging in at all. Want to say having makeover passes in these generally occurs monthly or bi-monthly, but again not really sure on it. More of an estimation.
Even more, during large "anniversary" events (for lack of a better name, pretty sure saw three so far in less than a year...) with web event and all, they are handed out in number as well.
May be more, but not coming to mind immediately.

tl;dr - unless you don't play at all or play periodically and manage to dodge all handouts, you'll probably have more makeover tickets than you know what to do with.
Also, there is a quick questions thread that can be used in the future, if having similar questions.
Hopefully this helps out your decisions at least a little!

Haven't people reported before that multiple accounts is a big no-no and Sega will ban you for trying that? Risking losing everything just because of a few trophies doesn't seem like a sensible choice.

They don't seem to actually care unless you're often doing shady stuff on multiple accounts (RMT-ish stuff), or have way too many multiple accounts (eg. 100+ accounts to get FUN).
