ragnarok writes, "Sega's widely publicized online gaming network; SegaNet will no longer be exclusively directed towards the just the Dreamcast and the PC platforms. As part of Sega's plan to restructure itself as a third-party firm, it's online network will now be made available to several next-generation platforms, including the PlayStation2. According to a recent report in SegaScape, Sega's internet service along with SegaNet will become available to XBox and PlayStation2 owners along with WebTV customers. These events are all expected to take place after March 31st. It is expected that the PS2 will be the first console other than Sega's very own to utilize the new service.
