A Japanese PSO fan site (PSO Maneuver (http://pso.ping0.com/)) has posted some news about the rumored PSO append disc (thanks for the heads up nozedive!). Apparently, there is now a scheduled release date in Japan for the disc. The estimated price in Japan is 4800 yen, which is the equivalent to about $40 US. We're not sure if the disc will actually cost this much in the US though. Here are some of the features that were listed (for a complete translated list, click the Read More link):
Current character can be carried over
Max level becomes 200
Fighting mode added (not sure if this means PK mode).
New "Ultimate Mode" difficulty added.
"Temple" and "Spaceship" stages added, along with two new races of monsters.
