Hello,

I am currently looking for the Emergency Trial Alpha sound files.
Sadly I am rather bad at searching and ripping those from the PSO2 Alpha Client and I haven't found any quality ones in the net yet. :(
So I am asking here if somebody has them or can rip these from the client.

If you have no clue, what I am talking about:

(At about 0:30)

(At about 0:06)

I'm grateful for any help. :caterpillar:

I hate that they replaced this voice... The guy could actually speak english well enough unlike the current one.

Honorable shout-out to Nova's ridiculous announcer.

Maybe look for and install an alpha version of the client and look for the files. Sadly the oldest setup I have is from 2013. The Alpha was 2011/2012

That's pre-ep3, right? Could you look for these files from that client and upload them if it has them?

That's even pre-ep1. All downloads or torrents I found for PSO2 Alpha/Beta don't work anymore or have no seeders. :-(
Not sure if the files still exist in the current client.

Well I grabbed the installer for pre-beta here (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?194741-Alternative-PSO2-Open-BETA-Installer-Download) and couldn't find either of those files, but then windows orders the files in strange ways. I'll give my 2013 installer a shot.

Only people I would think to have the actaully pre-alpha/cbt client would be psumods folks. Even then, I doubt they'd share, but it could hurt to ask.

I still have the 2nd Alpha client, but my upload rate is awful.

e: Errr scratch that, seems I just have an installer for it. Coulda swore I had the rest of it somewhere.. its the kind of thing I wouldn't delete as I was making a concious effort to preserve it in light of things we wish we had at the time we were working on PSU EGS...

Oh it's a web installer?

OH! I was just looking in the wrong place. Found it :D

E: ^^^ It's not a web installer, it's a setup.exe and setup-1.bin file. But yeah, don't need that as I found a copy of the full client just not where I thought it'd be.

Things like this is why I never delete things, still had Alpha 2 installed on my old hard drive.

I'd .RAR it up but looks like Raujinn's already on it.

Nah if you got the upload capacity go ahead. It'd take me weeks on this connection. I was only really prepared to upload individual files on request.

I can probably have it uploaded in an hour or so, I'll get right on it.

Edit:
Finished uploading sooner than I thought, alpha client was only 1.16 GB.

"Insident" sounds at least like something...
Anyway, I can't convert these to soundfiles and haven't found a way that worked yet...

So, anyone familiar with howto or can tell me howto convert these?
After using various (suspicious) tools on the net all I could get was a sound I could produce myself by slamming something against my door :(

Here are the extracted files (https://www.dropbox.com/s/11emj96v381x9e7/11_sound_insidentvoice.zip) for alpha2 insidentvoice. The HCA are using an old cipher, so they cannot be decrypted without figuring out the ciphkey.

Yeah, just tried to decode the, Welp. Gonna ask at HCS forums in a bit.
