I love the music to Phantasy Star games...
But I have to say for the very first time that this is one of the most horrible pieces of new music I have ever heard......
It literally made me say "WTF" on my seat listening to this...

I can not begin to even discuss what exactly is wrong with this from both, a Technical and Compositional point of view as well as a subjective point of view as well. I feel that I could bash my head against a wall and that won't transform the sound that just invaded my ears in the most perverse fashion. I will even go to say that music found in pornos sound better than this.... If the middle east needed a secret weapon to handle our forces, I think the Japanese just found the solution to all of their problems.......

I mean shit...
I felt like a pair of Q-tips, strapped with a needle in between just pierced my ears...

Or maybe its me....
Who actually is listening to music with higher end studio monitors to hear the real sound that is not littered with the new age of throwing internalized always-running effects on Digital Speakers to hide the fact that things really do sound THAT BAD... and there is no substitute for good equipment...

Anyone know what the music file names are so I can get cracking on my own compositions to replace this filth? I feel like this just awakened me in a way to launch an epic crusade against the forces of evil found within this thing..... that... I can't even... Identify!

Once in a blue moon I get to hear something that sounds beyond reprehensible, that I believe just-cause to have a thousand ships launch against such tyranny... and let the rage and gears of revolution rear their heads for the sake of all the living who have to endure this crap. I would start by first finding the mixing engineer and ripping his heart off, and spraypainting it green and putting it on a pole in the sound studio.....why green?

It's fun how this theme is mostly how I expected to be : like a Sonic Casino-themed stage, but on crack. not really PSO-ish, but most definitely SEGA-ish, and that's not a bad thing to me, especially since we need a fitting theme for all the nonsensical BS happening in Vegas ( psychopath clowns ? yeah, sure, gunslinger mechanical rabbits ? eh why not... This stage and the music is absolutely not like PSO, or any Phantasy Star for that matter, but I LOVE it. It gives me old school Sega vibes, like playing all the unique wacky games that came out during their best years. Honestly, I love the enemies, the music is catchy, and even if I am disappointed that it doesn't feel "PSO", I can't stop having a blast with it, and that's what I really want anyways.

I can't wait for the free field, the little plane robot thing looks amazing!

Actually, you're right. The saxophones in the Las Vegas Night version are very similar to Arid Sands. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if SEGA decided to do a legitimate Sonic LQ in Vegas. The night of the Patch, I was looking through the files and came across like 3 different files containing something from what seems to be the Daytime theme and the Boss, so I feel you on that one. Not sure why they would have so many stuff specifically for the Daytime theme, as apposed to the Night theme...

It's... whatever those sounds in the background are at :45 and :58 (in the last video posted).

Also the version used in the story quest doesn't have the vocals, but that might just be the story quest I dunno.

I honestly don't see how the auto-tune is bad. Realize AND Zero-G both had auto-tune in a lot of their parts, especially in the Calm version of Realize. If you haven't listened to Runblebee before, his lyrical style is extremely distinct. Topped with the auto-tune creates a somewhat "futuristic" style of music, which I think is super fitting. I dunno how to explain it very well, but I truly think it fits. And I personally think that at 4:45 in that video, that part onwards beats both Realize and Zero-G for me.

Neither does Neon Lights. The only part that has auto-tune is the both choruses ("Neon Lights" part, and the "Let It Go" part). Other than that, majority of the track is just Runblebee rapping.
