Much more important is being able to use multiple camos. But most important about it is being able to turn any weapon into a camo. We can turn item package weapons into camos so why not others?
Cause Sega is incapable of creating a menu for it that does not include a separate option for every single weapon?

Voted for Alva Partizan (PLEASE GIVE IT TO MEEE) and basic version of everything else except wired lance. Those green weapons are used for what, all of fifteen minutes before you level up enough to use a vita weapon? They're completely neglected and have some of the best models in the bloody game. I don't mind the imagery once in a while, but when its every single time.... it becomes plenty clear that the intention is as follows:

Online Gaming is mostly male dominated, so lets keep as many males as possible by giving our target demograph the most suggestive and softcore porn female characters possible; their minds can do the rest, while our pockets are lined with cash....

In the end its pretty much a lot of males falling in love with their characters, turning them into waifus and then spending 10 - 100x more on them, rather than on real girls. Considering in Japan that marriage with non-existent, digital characters is legal, I rather not spend any more time dealing with the politics of a backwards culture. Sure, I like their games... but I find it amazing how the world forgives existing elements in Japanese culture that were publicly and legally abolished in the majority in the world. I would go into detail, but the matter is far too inappropriate for a forum like this...

I really get a laugh out of PSO2's bizarre thought process behind weapon design themes for different tiers/rarity. Low Star weapons look aesthetically pleasing and are consistent to the setting. Higher Star weapons pretty much says "Fuck it!" and goes for whatever people think is cool nowadays.

Anyway, I'm voting for the Claymore Swords. I always liked the Swords that look like nodachis/big katanas. Don't really like the Calibur Swords, though. The ratio between the lower and upper end of the blade looks ugly.

Sega is killing the weapon crafting. I'm only getting NT 1-6★ weapons, can't extend those but Zieg need one of those to get his weapons. I can buy it from shop(before the stock runs out). I can get it from NPC but i'm sure that they will change it.

I like the Vita Weapons...
I think the problem with PSO-2 is that too many unique weapons exist, and too few standardized weapon sets exist.

For example:
If we were to watch a cartoon or series that had typical "extras" like enemy soldiers, we could always identify the general loadout most people have. In PSO-2 it becomes quite hard to do so. What do Neutral Arks and typical soldier/military actually carry? Just spoiler boxes to cover what I mean

Star Trek
[spoiler-box]We know that different color uniforms designate Command, Engineering, or Science Uniforms. We know standard loadout for Away Teams are Phasers (as a weapon) and Tricorders for Scanning. We know Standard Klingon Loadouts are Disruptors, two melee weapons (one dagger, and usually a bat'leth) and their uniforms that double as Armor.[/spoiler-box]

Star Wars
[spoiler-box]We know the typical arms of a neutral character who is rebel alliance or empire. We are familiar with Rebel Pistols, along with the red uniforms and helmets for pilots. We are all familiar with typical stormtrooper armaments and uniform... you know.. the white armored uniform with helmets that make the troopers blind to everything. Even a stereotypical Padawan has a more monk-like uniform and their lightsaber.[/spoiler-box]

Even FF XIV has a neutral loadout extras carry and we can tell by appearance what faction, class, and type a person who is with you actually is. This becomes rather difficult in PSO-2.... so I am all for voting for whatever might add a bit more standardization. There are so many unique weapons out there that it feels PSO-2 is becoming very abstract.

The 6* weapons, unless the text and body paint are a part of the "photon color", are going to clash with any color scheme that isn't the default. The 1-3* weapons don't have this problem. I don't understand anyone voting for 4-6* weapons.

Don't get the appeal of the assault rifle winner right now, either. Those nuts and bolts are just unsightly. The fact that my favorite one (Vita Sniper) isn't even in the top 3 just makes it hurt that much more. Why is Alva Sniper up in third?! Why is Vita T-Repeater above the Alva or default versions?! WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE SUPPRESSORS!?

This depends on the organization of the program.

In Modern Day Programming Languages (called Object-Oriented Programming) we have a Class System. Usually in games there is a hierarchy. At least when I do Mod Programming for games, my structure is pretty much like this:

Object
Engine
GameDefinitionSP (Singleplayer, Multiplayer etc)
Weapon
Weapon Type
Weapon Name

Let me give you an example...

Suppose I create a game and want to throw in weapons. In running this way I can make weapon adjustment definitions for Singleplayer and Multiplayer through the combination of the Singleplayer Scheme (GameDefinitionSP) and Weapon. Weapon of course is an abstract file that really answers "What is a weapon?" and not which weapon it is. For example, what parameters do all weapons have in common?, Weapon Type of course is "What is a rifle?.. What makes it Special?" and then every single rifle that is different from the standard rifle... like lets say one has more attack power, and uses another model... etc, would go in a Weapon Type File...

Example would be

Rifle //What is a rifle?
Sniper Rifle //We get specific here.....taking properties from Rifle and adding more to it through sniper rifle like giving it a long range scope
Mega Sniper Rifle //Here we copy all that is in Sniper Rifle and give it some more juicy things... like that X-38 from a certain NCIS episode. ^_^

So that would mean...
If we wanted any weapon to be a Camo for another....
We would just have to define it in Weapon and in GameDefinitionSP and then every single weapon that inherits or is made could be made into a camo...

Structure of the program is important.
SEGA has been making games for Decades and I find it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

They could still tie such a system itno AC : basically in AC scratch one of the items you could get is a ticket allowing you to change a weapon you have into a camo. Pretty sure that'd be another incentive to scratch, instead of getting super expensive camo you don't even care about xD

Dang that is a shame on the DBs Dual Stilettos was 2nd place. I'm glad a version of the Blaster won for ARs. Kinda wish Vita Tagvalve would've won for Launchers, which also took 2nd. The Katana and Bow are kinda nice but my BR/HU already uses a Katana camo that, imo, is way better than anything this vote could've produced ＊氷剣・ユキアネサ and I doubt I'll ever use something else.

Besides that meh. Not a huge loss on the DBs as I like my ＊ZodiacSign and Launchers I hardly use so yeah a good AR won and I'm happy.

Now to the weaponoid costume vote. Overall unsurprising hell the only thing surprising is that at the halfway point Strike Brute was at 27th and despite my best efforts he remained at 27th.
