That Battle Arena (PvP) was HYPE!! PvP has finally come to PSO2!!

Upon a closer look:

- Ranged weapons bullets/arrows will be very bright, long, and easy to see to allow other players to predict the Ranged user's path of fire.

- Swords get a Battle Arena specific PA that looks like a mix between Rising Edge and Over End: Only one upper swing but the range of the attack is pretty large.

- Randomized weapons that you need to pick up around the Arena. Hope you've been practising using other weapons~

Suffice to say, Lisa will be very pleased :D

Boy am I glad they went with that, Battle Mode would be horrible if it were based on your own gear. If it were based on your gear, it'd be either super frustrating or super easy when playing with randoms, neither being any fun.

Maybe TE/SU honestly, you have all the main class only buffs to your buffs under techer, that would now apply to your fluffy little murder-balls too, as well as access to compound technics?

Atm, I have some hopes for FoSu because Su's multis are pretty okay as a Te replacement, and having access to compound technics on top of maron, and having popple for pp restoration (esp with the new parfait) tells me that FoSu can put in some work along side FoBr and FoTe.

PvP looks like it's going to be awful and annoying, ping is likely going to be very high trying to combat against people on the other side of the world and the mere thought of being blasted from Foie spam, looking to do upwards of 200 damage a hit with a 300 HP pool doesn't sound enjoyable. There's probably gonna be units to grab to increase HP (saw HP vary from 300-400), DEF, and Resist though, so probably won't be as bad as I think, but so far not impressed and looks like it'll be Force dominant. Might be fun to play with friends in a casual manner every once in a while though, so here's hoping it's a nice side thing to do in-between the dead times an EQ isn't going on.

Also, Sega, please don't mess up with 14*s! Give them some unique traits besides having damage bonus + extra fluff. You had something going with the Form series, do more weapons similar in style to them.

It won't, every GP event in PS history has been a Challenge event of some nature, even with the existence of Battle in PSO1 and PSP2 (PSP2's GPs were 3 duo challenge stages, while PSO2 GPs were similar)

because stuff like Austere and Gix are already pretty overkill for current content; these are probably going to be ranging from "slightly stronger than our current overkill" to "looks like overkill to our overkill equipment"

With FoSu, you primarily rely on Talis/Rod, and switch to Tact for Maron only to Maron Strike. After that you switch back to Rod/Talis.A

As for popple, it depends on how much the 13* Candy gives in terms of PP regen. Queen Vera is 80% @ level 3, so if the parfait gives like 50% like Pet Elemental PP Restorate, then it'll give more PP per shot on Popple than Vera, and Popple can pierce enemies so Popple Fall on 2 enemies gives twice as much PP back.

It'll deff have overall more PP regeneration than a Queen Vera.

And my point with pp convdert/ketos was just that they make popples PP regen kinda redundant anyway, not to mention Orbit rod/talis, though those are obviously harder to get. Again though, I'm talking specifically about the use of pets on other classes, not Su as a sub in general. If Tacts had decent T-atk so you could have a pet out while also teching I would be saying VERY different things.

EDIT: I guess my point is that Popple and Maron aren't big enough selling points to me for pet usage as other classes. I guess you could make an argument for popple, but Maron would be missing 40% damage multipliers
