I got that too, first time i DC in mother EQ though, it seemed there was a super huge lag this time as i had to wait 5 mins before the end of Mother EQ period to log back in and get another run, i usually have no lag when others do xD, so this lag must have been special to lock me out for 20 mins

I was bored and wanted to do this. Need to take more screenies. Dx

My main is Keilyn.
I play as her in several games due to the backstory that she has. Each time I find a game with an amazing character-creation system, I always try to recreate Keilyn. Amazingly, this character-creator has come the closest to what I want. The challenge with Keilyn is that she has seven phases to her story. In each she looks and acts different and so in Phantasy Star Universe I did Phase 1, 3 and 7. In PSO-2 I did Phase 2, 4 and 5. Phase 6 is complicated and it can't be done in PSO-2. This image is from another game and it is the closest I've ever come to how Keilyn looked at the end of the Epilogue (after Phase 7) where she "released" herself and vanished from existence.

I play too many games that use a similar control style. Dragon's Dogma and Dynasty Warriors spring to mind immediately. Others like Saints Row 2 & 4, Dragonball Xenoverse, and Dark Souls 1 & 2.

3-button is not really a different control style though, especially since there's now a dedicated weapon action button.

All you need is one extra button and everything becomes a lot easier. I avoided it for a while too, but then I decided I'd get used to it and now I can't go back, especially when using melee classes / JB / TMG.

I had exactly the same amount of play time as of April 2016, yet I adapted in 1 week. It generally takes me a day (2 at most) to adapt to things like remapped buttons or changed palette. It's worth it at least for sake of new experience with the game.

That's just it right there look at all of that compromising your are doing just to have one extra attack button. The only time I have ever felt limited is when I need to use techs in rapid succession and I can't move my highlighter over fast enough at points or I straight up miss the tech I'm going for. But that is what the keyboard is for.

Making that seem like its a bad thing when we clearly have different ideas on what is a problem. I have two characters that have the same weapon but also take up more than one slot for various reasons.

BR/HU
Katana user standard PA setup is guren -> sakura -> hatou I rarely need anything else. Bosses are the only ones that make me change it big bosses like Rodos it becomes all Hatous. Boss is spamming attacks so I don't have time to charge attacks i switch to the one that has tsukimi -> sakura -> hatou so I can at least get something in besides just counters. Bosses like Mag its all sakuras til dead. There is another that is only for certain XQs Fudou -> sakura -> which is obvious why that is there.

That character only uses katanas, a gix one at that, so me caring that I have to switch weapon setups based on the situation is not going to make me get annoyed if at all.

RA/HU
Typically uses Rifle but has Launcher on standby. Typical setup when not fighting a boss Diffuse -> crafted Parallel -> End Attract. Boss crafted Parallel -> Sat Cannon -> End attract.

Again nothing that screams oh god 3 button fixes it all, kinda does I know, but when the only way to do 3-button is to revamp my whole controller layout or use something like xpadder or joy2key I DON'T CARE. I'm doing just fine as is now can we please just drop this I mean thats what 4 of you now trying to convince me 3-button is the way to go?

How did it happen? Well two simple reasons. First, and more likely, you are playing BR on ES which also gains xp for the main game. But you will stop gaining exp for that class in the main game when you are 1 point away from leveling. You then have to log on and main that class and gain that 1 xp to get your level or cube.

The second possibility is you were maining the class and just changed it at the exact moment you only needed 1 xp to level.

Yeah, I could kill mobs, I had no latency of any kind, and the other characters in the MPA were updating with their attacks and movements in just about real time as well. I even got the "Teleporter activated" message while I was still stuck on the wrong side of the loading zone. The map reset when I tried to go through but it failed, but it filled in as I went through the MPA normally at first!

This is a perfect example of an already shit player base encouraged to power-level through the use of bonus keys and boost events. As a result, we have a community of level 80 noobs.

Why can't pso2 just match the scrubs with the scrubs? Let them fail among themselves, maybe that'll push them to try harder. Of course if there is no one there to carry them they might get discouraged with all of the failures and just quit the game.

If we could have a block, just one block for players with a scaling offense prerequisite, 4000 for starters, and that's generous. Even as I level from 75, my gear has to be optimal because I'm too considerate of other players. I said jokingly once that I should show up to an mpa scrubbed-the-fuck-out play like shit and see how other players like it. I might just start doing that as a middle finger to the scrubs.

Gracia is easy to duo. I'm a techer (so my damage is subpar by class combination) but I duo Gracia easily with a variety of classes.
If you have 2 "bad" players in your party, as long as they don't die and you're as good as you claim, it shouldn't matter if they're here or not to win the fight.

At best, this shows me you're not as good as you claim.

Some of my characters still use Magatsu/Saiki units that have 75 attack/HP and have no issues passing current content with flying colors. While it is true that more stats on your units helps, the biggest factor is how well a player actually plays. The videos of players beating Solo PD, Phaleg, etc with 1* weapons in a reasonable time should be proof of this.

Also 4000 attack just to enter a block? You want to play in MPAs that are 95% Fo/Te? I have 6 characters and I don't think any of them pass that requirement besides my Fire/Light/Dark and Ice/Wind/Light Fo/Tes. Most of them sit around 3300-3600. And with that said while not fully optimized my Ice/Wind/Light Fo/Te -would- pass 5000 t-atk if I had EPD or Qlif rod. Might as well make it a block that requires 5000 attack for full blown tryhard Fo/Tes.

Oddly enough I ended up experiencing this same exact bug during the normal Deus match just today; I would've loved to have explored more but the MPA made quick work of Deus and I was put back in the correct spot after the moon-shattering cutscene. One of the members of my party could see that I wasn't in the right place too, you can see their comment of "?" in the chat box haha!

MXAO looks fantastic, but for some dumb reason it fucks up the entire picture when I try to use a custom camera. Then again, modders have reported issues with custom camera in the past, so I blame it on SEGA.[/spoiler-box]

I don't know why SEGA keeps trying to reinvent the wheel when solutions are usually really simple. I also don't know why they feel the need to batch massive loads of effects into a single on/off switch without an ability to remove or adjust its parts in any way.

Now, if only there still was a way to temporarily remove UI while ingame...
