EDIT: Also Rina's gives 15 pp, so I imagine his gives 150 hp. But that's just a guess.

It's just a sidegrade. Some weapons would appreciate the 10% pp reduction more than 40% attack pp regen.

I mean I'm probably never gonna use the unit, just want it because I'm a fan of Itsuki's voice actor,and I have everything related to him in game (including the PSO2 Stage Show stuff)

Dunno if right thread but, Ray weapon requirements are a whole lot easier compared to before. All the falz related parts (hunar, angel) were replaced and the other ones such as lv71 zesh, ragne had their level requirement lowered.

That was Revo iirc. They didn't say anything about Ray weapon gauges being relaxed
Probably intentional on Sega's part to make people keep going for Astra

OG Ray CF's only 'locked' drop was the one with PD; anything else was free game, albeit with difficulty (lv71 mobs, hunar, angel)
New Ray CFs are much easier, considering the general difficulty of the mobs was lowered to lv61 (SH do-able)

Upgrading from Ray to Union will carry over the following features

Grind Value
Grind Cap
Element and Elemental Value
Special Abilities
Photon Color
Owner Registrations
Unit Skills
Timed Ability Installations


tl;dr: whatever grind, affix and whatnot you have on your Ray, once you upgrade to a Union it would still retain all of it.
Not entirely sure on the Special factor for Union though, but it's most likely Astral soul aswell.

Well, I guess it's Austere/Orbit Weaps and Units forever for me (plus maybe grinding some bs weaps for Lv. 80 requirement later).

Good! I can save meseta and time, and forgo the Union Series.
