New Effort Ring(?) Datamined, "Co"

So I was looking through the update a bit more detailed today and I noticed a change in the rings so I looked through it to see what new rings we got and to my surprise we got a new effort ring.


In January's update after ring_SpecialEffectSu (Effort ring for summoner, every other ring is ring_SpecialEffect(classname) ) it moves ontoTecArtsJAPPSave ring.

However in February's update wee got a new ring under a similar title called ring_SpecialEffectCo

Unfortunately all rings are labeled as an "Effort Symbol" so no name from that, but I think this is a step forward at least. That is if this is an effort ring like all the other "SpecialEffect" rings.

Possibly, or it could be a rapier that does melee range shooting attacks (specifically not striking ones) with a sword, so it'd get more benefit from sub RA than sub HU. I'd kind of like to see both but not at the same time, and funslash does kind of have the saber & pistol niche covered in its own right, if in a severely deprecated way compared to most viable combos these days.

e: Oh with regard to this ring yeah it's Itsuki's Friend Protection ring. It's labelled ring_SpecialEffectCo. So sasagi was correct.

Speaking of r-atk swords. She also has that matodor vibe about her, like all dewmans in infinity.

PS i think icons are fake. Overall drawning style doesn't really match up, this icon is too thin and don't have enough straith edges.

Yeah they're fake. Mini class/weapon icons show up in ui_apperance.dds and these icons aren't present in the most recent version.

Honestly the weapon icon is too low effort and the class icon is too good (seriously the class icons are real basic D: ). As has been said though. if a new class is happening in ep5 there is a decent chance it'll show up in the client soon.

We're overdue a range/tech hybrid. Let's call it... Explorer. No stances, they're melee and melee hybrids' hat. Needles and tech slicers, with skills to switch each to the other stat, and a skill to allow, say, 50% of multipliers for one intended thing (like fire damage boost or weak hit advance) to apply to things it normally doesn't (fire damage weapons, non-ranged weapons).

Or maybe go way beyond that and have that be its main damage dealing option, 130% damage boost to your subclass's multipliers when used against invalid targets, with nothing else multiplier stacks-wise from the Ex tree. EX/HU fury stance tech damage. TE/EX light needles.

And then maybe just some cumulative defensive bonuses for being on the ground for an amount of time, and some cooldown reduction on kills.

I'm just spitballing of course.

So either way somehow Soro was mad about Itsukie and he ends up talking about maybe use the stone they got to make a ring or something to apologize or something

He gives the ring to Soro

Then he gives the same ring that he gave to Soro to you too
