Naturally, sellers don't have more than a vague idea of the demand for the items they pull from scratch. So with hype stuff, they tend to swing for the fences, figuring they can catch up when the market finds an equilibrium for that item. Every now and then, an item actually sells for that pipe dream list price, like the first release of Io's Eternal Layer. Seeing as 2B's hair has been holding at 50m for the past hour now...it looks to be one of those items.

Oh, another factor in the price is that since this is a collab (that isn't Fate, anyway), we're unlikely to see a repeat like we can count on with previous popular items. So this is likely a one shot deal.

Usually if you sell something off of your shop immediately, you probably set the price too low.

I sell it cheaper than others I expect that to happen I don't try to match prices I look at what others are selling it for, first pic, and then put mine up based on how much cheaper I'm willing to go, 2nd pic. That right there was 2 mil under the others, it was sold for 45 mil but you know taxes, and it sold within a minute of me putting it up I'm happy.

I broke down and bought 2B's hair. I really feel for anyone trying to make a 2B clone because it's going to cost you! I'll probably pick up A2's hair at some point which is thankfully way cheaper than 2B's hair and probably 2B's outfit and blindfold and will probably be done with all I want.
