Hmmm only thing I'd consider rolling for in the scratch is those....hexagon eyes......the luminous (forgot what the new new name for it)

and the fangs.

I only noticed now that Deus Esca Gracia has more yellow accents on it.

Don't see much change in its attacks but its only a few seconds. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong when it comes out.

Really wish Blue-haired Quna and Matoi in a bikini gets featured in the next beach-theme EQ. Maybe Sara too just to make up for the fact that she was ranked in the bottom of the latest female characters popularity vote.

I don't recall deus having a party wiping slash that does over 50k damage.

I thought he only folded his arms and the moon crashed into the planet. Unless I am thinking of the wrong thing. I have never seen him do that slash attack before.

I've been lucky enough never to fail the DPS check, but also in the video the timer still reads over 3 minutes

There are two DPS checks. The 5 minute timer one, after which he crosses his hands and the moon falls on the earth, and another one where he does the special party-wipe attack
.
During the final segment when he is at low HP he will become downed for a second time. Once that happens you have 30 or so seconds to kill him, or he will do a wipe attack when he gets back up. The timer does not have to run out for him to do this attack, he does it when he gets back up from the low HP core expose regardless of the time left on the timer. Eating the attack doesn't fail the quest, and you can just kill him after.

The odd thing about having two DPS checks is, that if the MPA doesn't have the dps to actually kill him when he's downed, it probably also doesn't have the DPS to down him during the 5 minutes anyway so you'll very very rarely (if ever) see this attack done by Zephyros unless your MPA specicially tries to trigger it by purposely NOT hitting his core when he is downed like in that video.

No idea if Gracia is any different, but since it's a preview video they could have triggered that attack on purpose by not hitting the core despite having more than enough DPS, just to show it off.

The video shows Gracia used Enuma Elish at 3 minute mark. I suspect the mpa wipe would be used more frequently, like after the first down.

I've only been in 2 MPAs that failed to kill Deus after downing him in the final half and has been hit by that other party wipe attack of it.
