It seems that the latest PSO2 setup is badly virused and needs your attention, after downloading the tweaker and installing the setup i open the tweaker to update and patch the game and norton just goes crazy, this has never happened long as i been playing PSO2 im not sure where you are getting these files from but you must start checking them or have someone check them to make sure they are clean, my pc is expensive and i dont want it messed up, so please take time and update your latest setup with clean files it would be appreciated..

You do know most virus protection services will pick up the English patches as viruses right? AVG does it all the time for me which is why I had to add the whole PSO2 folder as an exception just so it would shut up.

norton is garbage with it's trigger happy heuristics detection, just uninstall that piece of shit, even windows defender is better if you don't download porn.exe

I use Norton (yea yea I know) and ever so often Norton will flag stuff within pso2 tweaker as viruses and try to get rid of it.

It's common for antivirus software to trigger stuff it doesn't recognize....especially stuff that's not from validated company... (think like Microsoft)

Ignore it.....false alarm

About your "virus"..

"Heur.AdvML.B is a heuristic detection designed to generically detect malicious files using advanced machine learning technology. A file detected by this detection name is deemed by Symantec to pose a risk to users and is therefore blocked from accessing the computer."

AKA it's doing it based on "similar threats" which have the same function as our plugins.

We tell people to whitelist PSO2 and the tweaker and its plugins.

Norton really hates the tweaker, i've had times when i've set it to not scan the tweaker and its files and it still tries to murder it.

Bitdefender User here and BitDefender only really hated the TelepipeProxy.dll, all the other DLLs are fine. Whitelisted my entire PSO2 Folder anyway...

Use Norton too. Never had problems with Tweaker. Just add PSO2 folder in scan and automatic protection exeptions.

I use Avast and have had no issues with games. Used to use Norton before realizing it was as secure as a screen door. Tried AVG, but it gave me issues with games. Went Avast and have been satisfied ever since.
