also check out the Lounge for my intro/re-intro

Well so how do I do this?? cause I only see up till HD (1920 x 1080 ) in my resolution for the game... it is because of my graphics card??

Yeah. Check to see if your graphics card will allow you to set custom resolutions or supports DSR.

It could be or your monitor.

You can try downsampling or custom resolution.

What is your GPU anyway.

Unless this was changed recently, as far as I know the game's resolution list only goes up to 1920x1200, but if you use the virtual fullscreen setting, the game will use the same resolution as your desktop.
The problem is the interface doesn't automatically scale, and it only has settings for 1x (720p), 1.25x (900p) and 1.5x (1080p), so the interface will look tiny at 4K using these settings.

It may be possible to tweak the interface in the configuration file, but I have no idea which setting to use for that.

I don't think a GTX 750 can handle the game at 4K though.

going above 1080p with just a 750 does not seem like a good idea at since you will reach really awful framerates (for the record even 1440p is twice as demanding as 1080p.. 4k even more so)

Your GPU is not strong enough for 4K

noted .. thanks all ..I was really hoping to make use of the 750GT to do 4K but reading the comments well it seems its not possible.. oh well time to save ALOT... looks like I might need a pair of 1080Ti (22GB VMEM) lol... ouch.. by that time I will be saying goodbye wallet

Uh, a single 1070 can do 4K 60 FPS just fine, for PSO2 atleast. Just make sure to run fullscreen (not windowed mode).

Oh, and you can't just add the VRAM together like you did. You'll still only have 11GB effectively (except rare few cases).

SLI isn't really needed for 4k gaming, especially for PSO2, and SLI isn't really as good as it was.

Is there a way to make the UI larger?

I have a GTX 1060 used DSR to get 4k, but the UI is really small even with the text size increase to 1.5x pixels across.

You can try changing it in user.pso2 in your document/sega/PSO2 folder

Modifying the ReferenceResolution to a size that is smaller than your current resolution

There isn't if you're trying to 4K PSO2. The bean sized UI is all you can get.

also to note on monitors that are not 4k all putting it at 4k will do is give you anti aliasing equal to 4k itself.. which means you still get same pixel count as 1080p just with almost nonexistant jaggies.. 4k monitors themselves aint cheap and are stuck at 60hz.. cant go buying a 144hz 4k monitor

the default ingame AA is enough to kill the rest of the jagged edges at 4k and FXAA for other games

Also goodluck getting a gtx 1070 for normal price, you're going to need it.

Oh, lord. Is it another bitcoin boom causing people to buy up GPUs to then resell for ridiculous amounts? I was actually trying to save up a bit of money to upgrade to a 1070, but now...

Yes and all RX570/580 cards are sold out too.

Nah, Pascal ain't too great at that AFAIK. But since 480/580/470/480s were selling for very high used (around $400+), some people just sold them and bought 1060/1070/1080s, sometimes even with profit, which in return limited stock, hence the price increase. That varies from country to country, however. Around here, they only increased around 30€, though you can buy an ITX format card for the old price more or less.

But regardless of bitcoin craze and whatnot, right now is not a great time to buy a GPU IMO. Vega comes around the 30th, and I'm assuming we should hear something about Volta coming around soon-ish afterwards, depending on how well received Vega is. That should shift prices around a bit, hopefully. Also, if it's as the leaks suggest, we can have Vega at around 1080's performance, though we don't know how the pricing will be.

Yup, after the radeon polaris cards sold out the gtx 1070 started being the target. Its efficient at mining but the price made it a bad investment. I'm just going to skip my gpu upgrade to Volta/Navi. Atleast ryzen is not sold out.
