Solid build for Te/Hu?

(I asked about this in the techer thread a few days ago, but it was the last post on the previous page so it was out of sight pretty fast.)

I'm new to the game and I've been trying out different classes to get a feel for them. I really like self-sufficient melee classes that can also cast support magic, so Bo/Hu and Te/Hu have been the most interesting. I plan to play them both simultaneously (one by myself and the other as a duo with my gf) and I'm just looking for some decent skill trees for them. I found a "cookie cutter Bo/Hu build" in another thread, but I haven't found anything up-to-date for the Te/Hu.

I'm also not exactly sure what a form wand is, and if I should be going for one of those. I was hoping to use my S-Atk mag for my Te/Hu as well, and if I understand correctly, that's what a form wand uses? I'm a fan of partizans too so I'd love to be able to throw them into the mix at certain points, if it's feasible.

Anyway, I understand that Te/Hu is in a pretty rough place right now (that seems to be the general consensus in the Techer thread) but I still think I would enjoy the playstyle. If anyone could help me out with a skill tree for it, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

On the Hunter tree, max JA Bonus 1 and 2, all the Fury skills except for Fury Critical, Massive Hunter, and Automate Halfline. Put one point in War Cry and Iron Will. Optionally, get some combination of Flash Guard, Step Advance, or S-ATK Up.

On the Techer tree, max Wand Gear, Wand Lovers, Wand Reactor, Wand Gear Element, Element Weak Hit, Shifta Strike, Deband Cut, Deband Toughness, Territory Burst, Wide Support, Super Treatment, Long-Time Assist, and Reverse Bonus. Put one point in Rare Mastery Techer, and at least one in Territory PP Save. Optionally, get some combination of PP Convert, PP Restorate, Shifta Critical, Resta Advance, Territory PP Save, T-ATK Up 2, or Wind Mastery (just for a long range attack).

The Form wand is the best.

It seems to be from a quest type no one wants to run "Ride XH". You have to kill a ton of sphinxes which have a random chance to spawn multiple in it or none at all. From old forum posts and reddit posts I have gathered that it apparently has the lowest drop rate out of all possible drops in that quest, as well as rares over 6* being incredibly rare even with 250% boosters. I can almost confirm that as I ran it yesterday with 250% rare and 100% tri and barely got any red drops at all mostly junk weapons 6 times in a row. So it drops from pso2 equivalency of HELL with reports of people doing this quest every day for 1-2 weeks and not getting a single 13* let alone the wand outside of the collection file that is now long since passed.

Is there just one and one only form wand or is it a type of wand?The form series are a wand, rod, and Jet boots with a potential that creates shockwaves when you do normal attacks. The wand drops from Vegas Illusia. It's kinda hard to get one nowadays without the Collection File, but the episode 4 LQ has a guaranteed illusia spawn, so that would be your best bet if you want one.

Thanks for the explanation :) I'll definitely try getting one of these when I get far enough along.

In the meantime, I guess if I opt to use regular wands I would need a T-Atk mag?

Nightmare Vegas Triggers also exist, although after the EP5 update hit they got rotated out of permanent Casino Limited Shop rotation and are now in the random rotation, so getting them is going to be a little harder.

Granted, it's all RnG though, but that's an alternative at least.

Only Vegas weapons that are drops from the Vegas mobs that were added to the revised EQ drop there, and unfortunately only Illusia drops Form Scythe, so it won't drop there.

It's because specific enemies are able to drop those weapons. For example, the Form Zapper can drop from Dullahan Rider. However, the Form Scythe only drops from Vegas Illusia, so as far as anyone can tell, it cannot drop from Yamato.

Get Lavis Cannon, Form Wand is outpayed like majority of them thanks to Lavis. Do weekly Crests orders and convert them into the crests you need for exchange. Atra Wand will help you for the time being
