I was planning to not run the Ultimate Omega but then I saw these drops. It's not even 24h and there is no Boost in place. I ran the quest for half an hour and got 2 Demon weapons already.

It is probably more so just more players trying out the new content rather than higher rates. I ran around for about 2.5 hours w/ 350% RDR and I did get 1 13* Golem Bluffs (The Demon Sword) alongside 22 of the crystals (Demon Fossil Chaos) for what it's worth.

Golem & that new demon enemies is tanky as hell.
The drops in this new map wasn't too bad to be quite honest, and mates drop & code that recover DB help quite a lot for prolonged expedition as well. I'm glad that they're going back to the good old free field formula with no quest points in place so i can run in circle for hours without being kicked to campship.

Nah, it's the same as always, but with everyone farming currently you're gonna see more 14* drops than from a twice a day EQ. 3 hours of farming yesterday with 500ish RDR and I was seeing a 10* drop every 15 mins or so at best.

EPO and EP have historically have had some of the lowest drop rates in the game. Luther Drops are brand spanking new so it makes sense that their drop rates are a lot lower than the 14* that have been out for a year if not longer.

So personally i think fuck the actual area 2 boss.

They're already in the process of phasing out EP4 raids anyway. Deus got kicked off schedule with this past update, and Yamato is next. They might add something special for the Mother/Deus "Phantom Invasion" EQ thats coming in Summer to give incentive to run it, since anything relevant that Mother or Deus could possibly drop all drops from Enchanted Forest anyways.

It's certainly coming in handy for the new 14 star upgrades, since i need to get a +35 シュベル weapon first, and thankfully the collect files for the precursor weapon are still available until June.

Really enjoying this new free field, feels fresh and like it actually has relevant content that I can work at with my own pace.

I really hope sega keeps up with this style of content, this new free-field has been really enjoyable so far, and sets an example of how I think this game should handle in the future, free fields having relevancy just feels right.

I've got 3 Jutis after like 7 hours worth of grind, a Knuckle, a DB and a GS, they can drop from any mob or boss, though idk if it's a coincidence or not, but i got the DB and GS from a Flame Diamos, maybe they have a better drop rate of Jutis than any other mobs, but that's just a theory. Aside from that i got like 7 Demon weapons, so i guess the drop rate of Jutis is similar to what the drop rate of JP NT was compared to Val : basically 1 Jutis for 3 Demon drops, that was 1 JP NT for 3 Val in the Forest LQ

To be honest, if you are not being attacked, it means that you probably deal low damage and the boss is not even paying attention to you. I have aggro on me all the time and it can be pretty annoying for a ranger who is trying to charge attacks.

Regarding the Resta Golems, they are there to heal mobs, not killing players. So yes, that's kinda the point.

The pot. for Lumiere is additional 12% damage + Hero Will with HP regen, can only be activated once per quest, even if you got multiple weapons.
The HP regen will last for 5 seconds and recovers 10% per 0.5 second, according to PSO2 SWiki.JP forum

Up to 3 : worst case scenario is +31 x 3 which makes 31 > 33 > 35. But yeah Jutis is horribly RNG

I guess Sega train thought went roughly like this:
a) This is 14*, so it needs to have at least 2 times as much farming required as 13*s from Collection Files.
b) On average people should be getting a 13* per week. 6 copies total for +35, so 6 weeks. This means that the farming for Lumiere should take about 12 weeks.
c) This is not tied to EQ but it is spammable farming. So we further reduce the drop chance to factor in this accommodation.

Maybe they also want to entice us to do Battle Arena to get those Weapon Limit Grind items.

Even worse it can give you different weapon category that you don't want and you can't convert it into different type like you can do with Atra series.

almost 3 weeks farming with RDR and triboost. still no result (only got Goblin Bomber Peel, Salamander DB, and Golem Tact, which is trash *13 that can be buyed at visiphone) .. how can you all get the *14 or bode unit? rdr boost this week still seems no result.

I mean I've sunk something like 40 hours into Forest and gotten absolutely nothing aside a few tacts, daggers and vegas drops. 0 Jutis, 0 14*. I did get the leg unit though so that's at least something.

I tend to be quite lucky with drops but since boost I got almost no drops (2 trash demons 13* I already got multiple times BEFORE boost and a Detonation wand from Hunar :x )

Just before the boost I got a Jutus drop spree, 5 in less than 2/3 hours. Also I noticed the game tend to get "worthy" drop stuff for the subclass I play, NOT the main :etongue: (playing Su/Fi or Bo/Fi so I got a Jutus for each Fi weaps type lawnchair and a rifle). Those weaps are too much "work" for what they are considering they will be outclassed sooner than later (+35 Evleda req and CF is almost gone...seriously Sega...) :/
Weird thing is...I got the demons Fi weaps to drops. ALL were +31. A bit later I got them to drop again. ALL were +34. So I may keep going a bit more...Those drops seems not so rng to me...still +35 Evleda req will prolly make those drops useless for me :(

Another weird thing is EC distribution. It's either Golem spam or Duel spam (former is way too common and I use to leave early because BOREDOME)
Now if the damn game want to drop at least a single leg Bode to complete my main char bode units setup ">_>

I spammed Enchanted Forest ~4-5 hours a day since it went live.

What I really wanted was Hang Bode and Demonia Saber.

The 14☆'s I got were, Akatsuki, Jupiter Tulus DB (Bouncer), and a Lavos Cannon; in other words, weapons for classes that I don't really have an interest in.

As far as Justus/Justice weapons, other 13☆ weapons and useless Tacts, I feel like I probably got over +25-30 of them in total, maybe a little more, I can't remember and didn't keep track of them.

It would've been nice if I could have gotten either a Quevelle Scarlett (DS), Quevelle Windia (TMG), Spread Needle, Katana or something else, which I could've put to use.

When enchanted forest came out I got a quelle scarlette and a rykros tatk in the first couple hours of release. This made me think that I would finish off my first gen 14* in no time. Since then I’ve grinded 5 classes to 85 from 80 in the forest and just have stockpiles and stockpiles of jutus and demon 13*, and countless bode units. I have like 600 13* weapons in storage I have no idea what to do with. Be nice if they came up with something like turning a 13* weapon into 10 excubes or some thing. Basically in first hour of forest I got 2 14* , 50-60 hours later in forest , still just those 2.

they definitely should have jutus conversion (maybe added later?), but you can buy all the demon weps for cheap already. don't see much of a reason for that to have an exchange.

In the future, they will focus on contents that can be played by multiple people—generally contents for 12 players.
Solo and 4-Player contents that test you strength will be released around equipment updates.
As for Raid content, they’re advancing development so they can add 2 ~ 3 of them each episode.
For Heroes, they plan to add new skills around the time they raise the level cap of each class to 90.
As for them adding an [Advance Class] [New PA/Technic], you’ll have to wait some time, but they are making preparations.

Going by the patterns established by past seasonal EQs, all of the seasonal 14*s will be available as drops in the Christmas EQ.

Anything other possible ways of obtaining the seasonal 14*s are uncertain. Maybe they will add them to the summer Endless Quests. Maybe they will add them to a new upconing field or quest. I don't think they will add them to any quest that already exists. I feel it would be appropriate to add them to the Conqueror's Crest shop. That would make them still available, but would make you deal with the pain of them being max grind 30, which I feel would be fair. However, Sega said they would not be changing the shop lineup.

About two months back, I was given a Gilles Weihen, which I have found absolutely no use for, since I don't really do jet boots for my playstyle. Worse is I don't give a fuck of the Lumiere serie14* because when you think about it, it's just a reciepe/excuse for the upcoming 'add S4' item and that's not the 12% over the Atra 10% which will make them legit to hunt, especially since Lumiere base dmg is weaker than Atra...

1- they are not max ele and I won't waste any ressource to "fix" this.
2-Jutis have slightly higher base dmg than Val but only 2 SSA slot (s1-2) so they are useless when you can get Val for peanuts (which support s1-2-3) from visiophone
You are somewhat lucky with takt because it can't be improved aside upgrading to Lumiere :v
3-While I have limited space in my storage (fremium), I feel forced to keep them because one never know which dick move sega will make later and potentially will make me regret if I ditch them too early (same with all the trash demons 13*)...

It's mostly the concert, permanent content going desolate for EM is no big deal since at least they have some incentive to run, but the concert is a whole different level of bullshit. Had an absolutely awesome mpa in forest and then it just died 40 fucking minutes before the EM for the sake of that shitty persona concert and a useless 10% triboost. And every em has a concert this week...

I have been playing pso2 since the beta and i have literally never owned a current-content-relevant piece of equipment.

I never got a 10 star weapon until they removed the ticket/exchange requirement and once i bought that 10 star it was pretty much all i owned all the way up to when they started giving welfare weaponry.

Until the release of the HERO i pretty much managed to perform exclusively by buying myself a Dragon Slayer (and later Dragon Slayer NT) and abusing it´s potential to raise regular attacks so i could more or less contribute to EQ´s in a somewhat respectable fashion.

My current Atra Farder is literally the peak of my loot related achievements in this game.

And i am still going around with pre-12 welfare units because i never got a single piece to drop , not from bonus, not from polytan and not from pretty much anything else i have ever done.

I can solo Profound Darkness but it too refuses to drop anything noteworthy <w<

I've almost got enough tickets for a second EPD, and almost enough excubes for a grind cap increase - a cap of 32 can do for now, and besides, one of these days the 14* Austere weapons will roll around, and they may (or may not) be better anyways. As a FO I've decided it's probably in my best interests to keep with the Austere unit set rather than keep hoping for a Hang Bode.

I'll keep playing it - you never know what might happen - but only casually. I'll probably spend more time in Endless Quests, since I find those fun.

Me too. I got 2 14* drops in EF before the boost period. ZERO 14* drops during boost period ( played even more EF during boosted weeks). And now I got 2 more 14* drops after the boost period ended. Both Dupes (epd and rykros), but that’s beside the point that 14* have also been dropping more for me without “boost week” or even any boost for that matter. I just use 250% rdr and a occasional 125% when I can afford the Sg. It’s all just luck and rolling dice each time you enter the EF.

Boost week is pretty much irrelevant when we're talking with low area drop rates like this. every enemy having something like 0.001% chance of dropping makes it that triboost only pushes it to 0.0015% chances (numbers made up but you get the point). Since the net increase is low, it's still purely RNG. The boost is only a very minor improvement in that regard.

It's the nature of RNG, similarly to how you'd fail a catalyst upslot on boost week, but succeed it without despite the vastly lower odds. The only thing that can mitigate the RNG when dealing with low odds is quantity of tries/time spent. And it doesn't even guarantee you great success, it merely increases/decreases the chances of you being cucked the more tries you get/time you spend. If everybody could spend 500 000 hours on Enchanted Forest, then the odds/discrepancies would start lowering, because the guy that got tons of stuff the first hours would at some point get less while the one who got nothing in the first 100 hours would eventually get things. But nobody has that kind of time so RNG rules, simple as that
