Customization questions from returning gamer

So I went to make a new character, and noticed that face masks are gone, and the skin color customization has changed. When did they change it? Also seems like the color on outfits seems more limited than before.

Did you make a cast previously? The face masks are a cast only thing, they also have a different skin color pallette, and more detailed choices for part colors.

I think so. I came back to the game. I wanted to switch server 2, and thought I'd try a ranged class. Thanks for letting me know.
