The game's been a bit stale to me for the last month or so, I've hardly been playing, so I'm keen to give that Apprentice quest a go. It looks like it could be a bit different, and 8 players over 12 is a good idea.

Also, obligatory getting-Margaerita-and-Bringer's-Rifle post.

Did they forget about AIS

I could be wrong but i thought the story reasons to AIS limitations was that the mechs eventually get corrupted by darker energy and the result is the corrupt AIS mechs we come across.
Considering that ephimerea(How is that spelt again?) flower and the whole omega dimension itself is overflowing with darker energy,thats probably why they opted for a basic tank instead.

Why are they showing off phobos units and weapons that are already available? Unless these are something else?

because the droprate for these won't suck on Apprentice EQ. Remember they said "you'll have a better shot at obtaining them" according to the latest livestream.

So... still not much to farm for. I'm still waiting on a 14* that I really want to farm other than demonia.

well they never said what was gonna drop from Mother/Deus that it would be a "surprise" and low and behold they were quite the surprise....trash!
